I'm always reminded of Pelagia of Antioch when I look at these women. Though that might be giving them too much credit. I get what you mean. I think more along the lines of "if these men and women worked on their psychological issues, relationships, and self worth". They won't get anywhere without surrounding themselves with things beneficial to that.
A lot of them also use it as a shortcut too, particularly trust funders who spend money without thought. The time they spend on obtaining money for surgeries is much less than your average person with a job, and possibly only take the recovery time needed. Some use it to get synthetic or moulded abs, others do lipo because its easier to them to spend the money than to do some goddamn crunches. You got a divide on people who have and who don't when you look at it.

She can no longer move her top lip at all due to injections and a lip lift. She talks with a lisp. It’s really insane someone would choose to immobilize their mouth. The fillers can be dissolved, but she can’t lower that lip. Also, doesn’t having teeth exposed 24/7 cause bad breath? Just bad decisions all around.
Dental problems in general. Those with dry mouth get cavities easier, for some reason I'm not sure about. Enzymes in the saliva or something.
