what what so the game was supposed to be ever more basic and sensless? So acording to skeleton simpsons meme the game's cutcenes where not intended for the game and the music is plagiarized. God damn.
Like a a lot of people are speculating, it could have been a mobile game that got uplifted into console game, and these cinematics could be the thing that pushed it into that status.what what so the game was supposed to be ever more basic and sensless?
If you change the control scheme and add QOL shit you could elevate it from a complete trash fire to merely a mediocre but playable 3D platformer, but you’d have to basically redo the whole game from scratch to make it anywhere NEAR “good”...the only way this game is to be saved, it his game code got somewhat leak and people can hack it to make it better
This is a better platformer with similar mechanic
I'd say Balan is better than Bubsy. Bubsy 3D is one of the most garbage games ever made. (In Bubsy's defense it IS 25 years older.) The story behind the development is sad, they thought they were making the first 3D plaformer ever, nothing like it existed when they started making it, but by the time they were finished, Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot 1 had already come out and blew them out the water. Ouch.
(Fun fact: The developers of Bubsy 3D saw Mario 64 and completely freaked out. They wanted to do a complete rewrite of the game but the publishers told them no, they were releasing it as-is)
Bright side is they are stealing from a good song, rather then a bad one.
Unsure if it was posted. Ruh Roh
This reminds me of one of the Super Robot Taisen Games that had a song that stole bits of Magus' theme and other tracks. It was truly bizarre.Bright side is they are stealing from a good song, rather then a bad one.
IIRC, one of the buffs was a slow as hell punching attack with limited range. You're literally better off using the hammer.Even with buffs giving it a little more utility, it's still one of the most hated kirby abilities, and various games have tried to improve it in various ways.
It's essentially a rite of passage to catch a bird early on in the series. As far as it being useful, it's kind of is a mixed bag since bugs usually easy to beat, anyways.I mean, putting aside Pokemon evolve and Pidgeot is fine for the story line, Pidgey has great utility in early routes, being good against the early bugs, and most of the games expect you to have a pokemon that can use fly in them
Well, the series usually travels at a brisk pace and spending roughly 5 seconds jumping to kill each enemy gets old kind of quickly.Weird to hear people hating on stone in Kirby. I always thought it was one of the better powers due to the collision invincibility, high damage and easy aiming, especially against bosses like the knights who can easily outspeed you if they decide to do a long swipe when you’re trying to engage with hammer or something similar.
Most of the suits were somewhat useful, especially with the boss fights; except for the one that allows you fly, it needed to be upgraded so you can go from just moving vertically.Another low budget one that did it decently was Wario : Master of Disguise. Not the best game but there was some originality in the abilities.
It's possible to get caught in a tiny ditch if none of your costumes have jump, or you lose your jumping costumes to damage. I know it's possible in one of the bug girl's levels.Speaking of which, is possible to be locked out of a fight in this game because you've mismanaged your inventory?
At least we know that QA testing is nonexistent, atm. It's possible to get caught in a tiny ditch if none of your costumes have jump, or you lose your jumping costumes to damage. I know it's possible in one of the bug girl's levels.
You could even keep the costume gimmick with him. Just have a second button that does what ever the suits ability.Saw this earlier, don't think anyone else has posted it:
So there is a Balan costume in game, however the method to obtain is convoluted and time consuming for some reason known only to the developers.
All they had to do was make this the default character/play style, and design the gameplay/levels around it, and this game would have been significantly better than what it is.
So glad I picked up a copy of Monster Hunter Rise instead of this game.
