Barb in Nursing Home? -

Barb hasn't been looking too good lately, and she is even drinking meal replacement shakes in Leiu of actual solid food. She can still walk, but it won't be long before she cannot use the bathroom or move on her own. Chris can go to as many caretaking classes as he wants to, but he is still not a good caretaker as he would just let her sit in her own feces and refuse to bathe her. In the state of Virginia, Barb would be eligible for Medicade to cover her nursing home costs, but the house will probably be taken by the nursing home. I know Bob was very active in his 80's cuttin the internet down, but Barb seems to be in much worse condition than he was. When do you think the appropriate time would be for her to go into a nursing home? Would her bad credit and lawsuit history affect her ability to get in a nursing home? The closest nursing home to them is Evergreen Nursing Center in Greene County.

If that's the case then Barb will die from infections from sitting on her own feces and dehydration

I doubt she will ever go to a home for 2 reasons. Barb is obsessed with her horde which she will not be able to take there. The other is that she will have to pay for the horde and half of it will come from Chris which will be a problem for both of them.

The old bitch won't go willingly no matter how sick she gets and since all her relatives hate her all think there's a very good chance of her ending up one with the hoard. I also give it at least three days before Chris stops playing vidya for long enough to realize she's not yelling at him like usual.
