Batwoman on The CW -

Ryan and Luke are going to jail because they're terrible people black. Though considering the title of the episode, maybe this is gonna be an unexpected Ace Attorney cross-over.
Saw the episode, that promo is nothing compared to the ending, cause it raises the ACAB BLM nonsense up to 11.
At the end of the episode Luke tries to stop a car thief, and a cop shows up and shoots Luke when he tries to pull out his phone, thinking it was a gun.

I knew this episode was gonna be stupid, but I didn't expect it to start with Ryan and Luke getting arrested because of a fucking noise complaint.

"Ryan, bodies are turning up at amusement mile. You should investigate."
"The police can handle it, I wanna get laid!"
God, so many times in this show I really just want to imagine how bad it would look if Batman pulled shit like this. "I don't wanna deal with the Joker tonight, I wanna party! Justice can wait."

New version of Snake Bite makes you a proto-zombie now. Okay.

And Sophie gets jailed too for questioning an officer. Because police can really so easily jail random people without consequence and a shred of proof.

I like how, even after last episode with Mary realizing her Dad's been through some shit, she still doesn't understand why he'd be taking the drug that gives you happy memories.

Batwoman keeps doing this, the cops and the Crows are supposed to be these bloodthirsty bastards with quick trigger fingers, but when faced with a legion of cracked-out druggies eating people alive, suddenly they get real peaceful. This is exactly the kind of situation that would have all cops switching to lethal force.

Oh no, Batwoman's gonna have to get close to the zombies, how dangerous! I mean, these average people who have no weapons and aren't enhanced in any way could really do some damage to the Only-Kryptonite-can-penetrate Batsuit!

Hey, the Crows learned to start shooting.

And, of course, this is portrayed as bad. They don't know Batwoman found a cure, why should they be expected to not shoot the mass of murderous proto-zombies terrorizing the streets?

They have the Dude Crow saying "Oh, they were a lost cause" in the most sleazy and villainous manner. Like... Is he wrong? What is he expected to do?

"What, Dad? Do you expect me to feel sorry for you? I lost everything too and I didn't turn to drugs."
Jesus Christ, Mary! Why is it so hard to give Jacob one ounce of god damn sympathy when you're giving him so much shit?

Kind Cop tries to calm down a panicking snake bite victim.
Almost gets killed for it. Batwoman swings in just in time.
Cop: "Thank god you were here."
Ryan *with that same smug expression*: "You're lucky. Almost didn't make it in time."
Is it too hard to ask that the Superhero to not be a total dick when saving people?

Sophie leaves the Crows, cus it's best to just run away from the system than try to change it.

Ocean kills Enigma before Alice can get the solution to bringing Kate back because 'fuck Kate, she gave up on you! How toxic a sister'

Luke gets gunned down by Man Crow trying to stop a car theft because Crow thought his phone was a gun.

This is why I hate Hollywood. Most of my uncles are cops. They have always followed the rules and are good people with families. Cue to criminals and thugs that are BLM who are treated like heroes by the media and Hollywood. Hollywood celebrities going around saying "Defund the police" I Want punch in the face so hard. The fews celebs who defend the police I applud too.

Sorry about my rant. But this subject really hits to close to home and personal to me.

Edit: my grandparents weren't really fans of Trump when he was running in 2016. Until he became President and showed respect to the men and women who served in the police unlike Obama. That's how they became never trumpers to Trump supporters. At least one of the reasons

Nah, lethal force is exclusively limited to black suspects - preferably ones that are no threat to anyone. Didn't you know? Hollywood told me everything about it :story:

That's fucked up rhetoric on so many levels. Taking drugs is fucked up, but being all high and mighty about not suffering as much from tragedies as someone else and shaming them for their weakness is some really fucked up garbage-tier shitact. For people talking so much about their empathy, they sure lack the smallest shred of compassion, weird how that works. It's almost as if the left had co-opted the term "empathy" and replaced its original meaning with some wild mix of slogan-yelling and hypocritical activism.

Oh boy, I was so waiting for this to drop:

I bet I was more eagerly waiting for this new episode of JLongbone taking the piss out of Blackwoman, than any Blackwoman fan ever has been waiting for a new episode of that shitty show.

Yeah, but watching Luke constantly cuck to/shown up by/simp to all the female leads is getting really old
True, Luke was a bit better in Season 1 as he'd actually snap back at Kate and call her on out on some shit, it was rare but it would happen, but yeah in this season he really cowtows to Ryan and all the women more often.

That's not really true, Luke has snapped back at Blackwoman a couple of times, like when he pointed out how Blackwoman's ex is untrustworthy, cause she let Blackwoman down in a major way once already... of course the plot then ties itself in a knot to prove him wrong.
He's in a position much like Jacob, where he's actually doing and saying sensible things, but the plot demands that he's wrong, so he's wrong. Somehow.
He should #listen to Blackwoman and #believe instead of mansplaining I mean batsplaining at her.
