why is it considered unethical to beat your parents. i do support family as basis for society and christianity but why are they excused from punishment for doing stupid stuff just because they are your parents. if you would beat your friend or girlfriend for ashaming you in public for example, why is it not okay to do same to your mother or father if they behave inappropriately (eg. father getting drunk just an example). so if my friend ashames me by getting drunk on a wedding it is okay to beat him up or knock him out so you can put him in the car backseat but if you knock out your dad it is suddenly very insulting. but if you do give them a few knocks to the head its hell breaking loose because redditors say : "noooo you cannot tuch the parenterinos". just another stupid societal norm that isnt rational.
