Pretty sure every French politician worth anything wants that, just look at De Gaulle who came the closest since Napoleon's nephew (or maybe General Boulanger). Macron has been faced with plenty of crises so he's closer to actually having the excuse to try and be that but deep down he's still the cuck who was too scared of the Yellow Vests to even try and meet with them and still bows before his Rothschild and Eurocrat masters.
