Benign and toxic lolcows -

Lolcows are many and of many types, but in my opinion we can easily divide them in two sections.
Benign lolcows; those who makes us laugh with their eccentricities but are nonetheless well intentioned/good-hearted/relatively harmless.

One such example is recently discovered Nigerian artist Ugojesse. While is particular art style and use of Pidgin English makes us laugh, he has fairly good intentions by trying to spread awareness about medical conditions and ignorance in Nigeria.

The other type of lolcow is the toxic one: a lolcow who uses it's time/following/behavior to justify and promote toxic and unhealty behavior, harassing others and in certain situations even break the law.

One such individual is Vade, which is quite infamous for her callousness, antisocial and manipulative behavior, lying and exploiting tragedies for her personal gain.

So, dear Kiwis, the point of the thread it's this: which lolcows, in your opinion, are benign? Which ones, instead, are toxic?
Write up your picks and motivate them.

Butterdragon is fairly harmless. He's a fat fetishist weirdo who somehow doesn't like sex but does bizarre commissions on every perversion from vore to vomit to gore. But not full frontal. That's just too sick for him.

Or Undertale. He has a fondness for it and was a Kickstarter backer who bought a high tier backer status for a few grand that got his fat fetish dragon OC into the game (although hidden because Toby Fox was like wtf man). He's whined ever since then even though Fox offered to give his money back.

Then there are utterly shitty people like Rebecca Marie Hernandez-Gerber. Her latest stunt was harassing and libeling the employees of a hair salon while they did her hair. She claimed they had insulted her. She lied. She then sicced a hate mob on the students who had cut and dyed her hair for a discount.

From what I've seen of his thread, that black dude who wants to do porn is pretty harmless. He's just really entertaining to watch.

PK and Yandere dev on the other hand are self important scammers who have no problem with throwing people under the bus and blaming everyone else for their mistakes, and when they get called out, they send their fans after critics.

I have a soft spot for cringy but harmless lolcows <3 like they are just doing their thing not hurtin anybody. Bonus point if they aknowledge their thread but is cool with it existing. Cant name any examples atm that have not been told above though, many artcows and niche fetish artists fall under this category as a broad take.

As for toxic cows, which are more entertaining imo, I would say people like PK, notorious scammer and overall dick, Idislikecispeople who made trans people look like a joke for personal gain, and is just overall obnoxious. or god forbid nick bate, basically anyone who acts self righteous and above it all, while displaying mediocrity at best, or anyone that diddles kids is toxic imo. People who cant look back and laugh at themselves or who overall just walk around with a rod stuck.

The Rat King are toxic. Tumblrcows like IDCP and Vade are toxic. Any cow with a history of manipulation, scamming, or abuse is a toxic cow.

Chris would be considered a benign cow. We know he wouldn't hurt anyone, it's not in him. Phil would be a cross between toxic and benign.

Donny Long tows the line between benign and toxic. He's got all the makings of a toxic cow, but he's about as subtle as a fucking army tank in his tactics, so really if you end up being victimized by him, it's your own fault. He's benign if you have half a brain.

Benign cows are simple cartoon spergs (except those who think their interests are political, e.g. Dobson), tropers (ditto), and most schizocows (except those like John Bulla who are dangerously off-the-hinge).

Controversial opinion: furries are by and large benign.

As a moderator of the furry subforum I can tell you that the animal-inclined lolcows out there have some of the sharpest splits between banality and pure evil. You'd think that they'd be mostly benign, just being fictional animal fuckers with weird fetishes; there are a couple like that, some classics being PreggoAppleBloom who makes poorly edited pregnancy fetish and vore videos and Baron Tremayle Caple who just likes to edit pngs of animals into videos of him. However, the furry community also harbors some downright assholish and dangerous people like you wouldn't believe. Let's run down the list;

• Dragoneer is the fat, incompetent founder of FurAffinity who's been a fixture of the Philadelphia furry scene since the early 2000s and has been hopping around from sock account to sock account to bitch about everyone in it for their perceived wrongs even decades after the fact. He hires truly useless staff members on FA and then exploits the talented ones he does find.
• Jasonafex rips other artist's furry porn and makes it into very basic animations using the puppet pin tool in After Effects. He scams his audience via unnecessary Kickstarters and severely mismanages his game Amorous, selling off perks for Patreon donators and treating what little staff he has like absolute garbage.
  
• Jerry Peet is an MLP and cartoon reviewer as well as a manipulative pathological liar. He'll constantly harass and sexually proposition others and make himself out to be the victim if given the chance, and even his family members aren't safe from his wrath. Was exposed for abusing the far more popular YouTuber Joshscorcher and twisted it to say that he's a neo-nazi. Wrote pedophilic sex fanfics and justifies them by saying the offender gets killed in them.
  
• Casey Morris Hoerth and Lee Allen Miller, better known as Len Gilbert and Foxler respectively, are the de facto leaders of the vaguely racist "altfurry" movement and the whiniest, most hypocritical and disingenuous people on the planet. Registered a ridiculous amount of rooms for the Rocky Mountain Fur Con knowing it would cause controversy and blamed liberals after it was canceled, then turned right around and threatened another convention for hosting a babyfur panel, even though Casey and Lee have become outspoken defenders of babyfurs in recent months.
  
• On the other side we have Dogpatch Press, furry yellow journalism pushed by the failed animator Patrick Lake. He's one of the people who contributes to the Altfurry Blocklist, which puts people who very much are not altfurries on there. Tried to get some random Bay Area podcasters fired from their jobs for making fun of furry cons live on the air. Jacked off in public, which there's video of!
  
• Also even though his thread is dead I gotta give a shout out to former BronyCon head and current leader of BABSCon Purple Tinker. Uses his trans identity as a cudgel to shut down all criticism of him and his opinions. Tried to attack LGBT advocacy organizations after they wouldn't help him get refugee status into Canada (he's an American). He also tried to out me as a trans woman, but was foiled by the fact that I'm not. Good projection there, Jon.

Benign for me is either Rainbow Man, Reviewbrah or Jenffer a jay. Rainbow is just an old fashioned weirdo who makes bizarre but ultimately harmless skit videos about hating trolls. Reviewbrah has already been mentioned but his most cowish qualities are wearing a big suit and behaving like a 60 year old cooking scholar when he's like 20. But those qualities are also what made him universally adored- hes a "cow" that everyone wants to band together protect and support and that is something extraordinarily uncommon. Jenffer just has bad spelling and grammar and does weird drawings of himself with large tits.

For malignant cows...

• Jerry Peet. I'm biased on this one since I do the most housekeeping on his thread but inlivingtuna put it nicely when he listed Jerry too. In a few years time he's probably going to be remembered solely as an unprecedented low point for the brony community, a community who now already have to cope with one of its youtubers being outed as a deviant just this past week.
• Vade. One of the few lolcows with a bodycount to their name (her own boyfriend) Vade was a cult of personality on tumblr and made the TF2 fandom into a mad-max wasteland. One of the greatest achievements by the farms was knocking her down by 10 pegs.
• Trans-Lifeline. It's Trans-Lifeline. What can I say about it other than "Wow, two lolcows managed to get a higher bodycount than vade?"
• @FuckYou. Wow, one lolcow managed to get an identical bodycount as Trans-lifeline by shooting up a high school he never attended? And he got cucked by a couch? AND he trained himself by editing encyclopedia dramatica articles?
• Late-end Jace Connors if he was actually real. Not many cows can say they helped kickstart an entire FBI investigation on a twitter hashtag or cause a media firestorm just by being a psychotic stoner gamer with a sketchy past and a racist juggalo friend, and then crashing your car in the snow, but if are commander was a real human being and not an MDE character he could certainly brag about it.

A good example of a benign cow is @Allen John Jones III. He's incredibly goofy, with his poorly made furry OCs and kekistan fanboyism. His attempts at fighting back against the Farms were laughably bad at best, ranging from spamming his own thread with outdated memes to making a little discord server full of speds and deep cover trolls to hate on us.

A good example of a toxic cow is someone like Jonathan Ross. He publicly admitted to being a pedophile and having the desire to shoot up schools and kill children. He's doxed people and thrown death threats left and right without much hesitation.

Toxic cows include Vade, Fuck You, Nick Bate, Shad, and most of the Rat King lolcows. There's plenty of other toxic cows, which include any of the cows who have been outed as pedophiles, as they are a literal danger to society. Phil is a toxic lolcow, but just barely so. His personality and mindset is just utterly atrocious, but he is too lazy and low-functioning to actually harm anyone even though he probably wants to.

I'll second the notion that Pixyteri is probably the most benign of the lolcows. She's just some harmless weeb who has some body issues and took her obsession with anime and cosplay a little too far, but at the end of the day wasn't trying to hurt anyone or wish anyone ill will. Most of the tropers, artcows, and cartoon spergs are relatively benign, barring a few exceptions like Dobson or Shad.

Chris is mostly benign, he's just a delusional sperg and an idiot and his only truly toxic moments were his interactions with Megan Schroeder and Michael Snyder, and those both happened a long time ago. Despite his weapons-grade exceptionalism, he's mostly harmless and more pathetic than toxic.

Lee Goldson (Barneyfag) crossed the line from benign to toxic by wishing death upon disabled people (and actually attacking one).

I'd argue that Phil/ADF is toxic. He's abusive, lied about being raped, and he beat his mother for no reason.

Brad Watson is pretty benign. All he does is say crazy shit online.
