The narrative here is that Ben was tossed off a bus "for being gay". It's difficult to tell exactly what happened, the driver appeared to be upset with something Ben was doing but wasn't clear about it. I love that Ben's initial reasoning that she was discriminating against him is because she had a lanyard that read "I love Jesus".

The driver was consequently fired after the incident. It very well might be that he was thrown off the bus for the crime of "being gay" but Ben sure seems to find himself in a lot of strange and uncomfortable situations.

The second thread of posts actually isn't about this forum; it's about something else I discovered. I got it taken down, fortunately. I will say outright that nothing in this thread is slanderous; it has some uncomfortable truths, but it is not slanderous.

The first post was inspired by this forum though, after I stumbled upon it following someone telling me about this thread. But, it wasn't necessarily about this thread; I merely found activity on some other threads to be kind of stalkerish, like, even to the point where some members within the threads were questioning it. In general, it just reminded me of the obsessive nature of being an Encyclopedia Dramatica admin, and I wanted to write something relatable/positive about it.

I'm definitely not proud of the thing discussed in the opening post; however, it maintains my belief that getting involved in sites like these definitely can lead people down dark roads and isn't healthy. Basically, ED taught my 14-year old self that "trolling IRL" was one of the greatest things to aspire to doing, and it caused me to go lengths I shouldn't have; I did other things around this time, but nothing involving ED articles, just me being a shithead IRL. It took me another year after that to really start turning myself around, but I'm glad I did.

For anyone wondering though: We were never sued. I apologized to the sister of the brother I wrote this about, and they dropped it because they didn't want to think about it further.

I hope they're not troubled by it anymore. In general, I've been on a mission of trying to better myself as a person since I was a teenager. I was an incredibly reclusive and socially inept individual growing up. Thanks to the mixture of doing drag, multiple jobs fundraising for charity and the furry community, I've definitely fixed that a lot over the last ten years. I still have room to grow as far as being a more complete individual goes and really making a difference in the world, but I'm going to continue that how I can.

Anyway, that's all I felt like I -really- needed to address. But while I'm here, I might as well comment on the rest of the stuff, for the fuck of it. (If you don't care, that's fine; I wouldn't either).

The American Idol thing: I basically went to audition on a whim just to see what would happen, because they added New Jersey as a last-minute audition stop. I was well aware of how cancerous American Idol is, but, fuck it, adventure. I sang Rolling in the Deep for my co-workers, they gave me 40 dollars to go up to NJ and audition, and much to my surprise, I got through the three producer rounds (mainly by rapping and also singing, after I noticed perfectly good singers were being rejected because they were blending together in choosing Adele & Beyonce).

Unfortunately, there was a week and a half between those auditions and the one you see on TV, and being someone who worked an outdoor job, I got sick between those two. I actually tried to delay my audition by a day to see if I could get any better, but it didn't work. My nerves were shot, I started in the wrong key, and honestly? It's not the best song for my voice (Born This Way, that is; the televised audition cut out the first two bars of Super Bass' chorus, for whatever reason. Presumably to make it look worse). It would have been cool to get through to Hollywood since I've never been to LA, but hey, it's whatever. I never had any grandiose idea of winning; I just wanted to do it for the experience. To this day, I still never thought they would televise the audition, but it's whatever at this point.

So I actually ended up meeting someone who's mother worked with COTA about a couple months after this, because they used to work at the job I had at the time; he confirmed that the other bus drivers don't like her, and that she is indeed a bigoted piece of shit. It was revealed that she had accused me of releasing an "odorless gas in the air" that was giving her a headache, which explained why the cop that showed up at the time asked if I had an aerosol can or something like that which confused her (I didn't). She had apparently made the claim several times in the past against people, but was ultimately fired since a mental evaluation brought up nothing.

As for my tweets in general: When I'm not being a Outraged Cuck™, my twitter is meant to be funny; the sexual stuff I post isn't out of genuine horniness (if you don't think I'm funny, that's fine). I thought I'd dust off my AD account because I never use it and, yeah, still not terribly compelled to use it after posting that. Oh well.

@Ben, you seem nice and we mean no harm here we just like finding some amusing things and gather them all in one place. I think I know which thread you're talking about seeing as one in particular wound up getting someone permanently banned for taking things too far.

It's nice when a thread subject swings by and responds in a friendly manner. It's a real change of pace from certain types who threaten lolsuits or think we should be deleted from the internet because of hurt feelings.

If you have funny stories feel free to share them, especially if they involve Foxler's Furry Raiders and the civil unrest they have wrought on the fandom, as you seem familiar with at least one of his lackies (the FelixTheFox character I mentioned in the post you quoted from me.

Felix The Fox is a deaf furry from England, who honestly, just isn't that bright and doesn't know any better. If anything, his massive following reflects more poorly on furries themselves, as he has over 9000 followers simply for having a lot of porn of his fursuit (he's not shy about it; you might have once seen a gif of him getting fucked by a Storm Trooper).

What I was referring to in that tweet was basically, he was getting roasted for something (I honestly forget what, likely something to do with Foxler though), and he posted a video of him drinking a chalise of "SJW tears" or whatever. However, he got mocked so heavily after that, he changed his Twitter handles for a month, someone swiped them up to turn them into parody accounts, and apparently he still hasn't learned his lesson since returning. Oh well.

As for others, I tried talking to Foxler's boyfriend in DM for a few hours a couple weeks ago. He seemed like he was starting to see the light and the conversation ended very positively, but I realize actually fixing him would take way, way more effort than I can afford.

I basically learned that he got involved with Foxler because he didn't want to ban him from a furmeet for wearing his Nazi get-up, and because people ridiculed Kody so hard for his inaction, he decided to follow Foxler down a rabbithole.

At this point, he apparently feels trapped, and that he acknowledged that if he left the Raiders, he would have absolutely nothing. He told me he tried to leave once before, but didn't realize that you have to also actually -improve- as a person, and returned after people made it clear that they still thought he was a shithead. I hope for his sake, he figures things out in his life.

Honestly, when I posted that, I wasn't expecting people to spill out of the woodworks arguing against the post, since Huscoon finally did block me.

However, I don't regret making it, because it did lead to people sending me scholarly research articles on the matter, so I appreciate the opportunity it opened up to learning more concretely about the issue. Wasn't really worth the time to debate with those other people, but whatever, learning opportunity is a learning opportunity.
