In the tradition of best fucked up books comes... I thought this might be fun. My all time favorite is Gave Up by NIN from The Broken Movie.

Goes without saying the entirety of the Broken Video is fucking amazing. Peak NIN IMHO.

Another one would be Eat My Rotten Meat by Emily Youcis before she went insane and became a neo-nazi.

For something a little bit tamer there's Rock DJ that I first saw in a top 10 banned music videos special on MTV 2 back in the day.

The song is okay but the visual of a guy ripping off his flesh to appease women is a cool visual. Not much more to say.

It's just cool.

Not a big favorite but I like the visuals in an amateurish Newgrounds kind of way.

This is fucking amazing and I discovered this years ago.

From what I get; Dir En Gray started as a mainstream Japanese boy band that gradually morphed into this and created increasingly more outre and counter culture shit with good music. Kind of like The Monkee's with Head I guess???

I remember this being on TV maybe a handful of times before the video was banned from airing just about anywhere, including music stations on the internet, up until they censored short bits of it - but even then it was hard to find. It's actually really tame as far as weird music videos go and it being swept under the rug killed any of the song's momentum.

Ginger genocide. AmericaBad coppers shoot a little one in the head at about 6:45 and then the run the rest of them through a minefield. At 8:30 one gets turned into a red cloud of gore and body parts.
YouTube took it down right after it was uploaded back in the day. People kept re-uploading it and they eventually settled for an age restriction because the full-on ban was ironically drawing more eyes to it.

I never liked Pearl Jam and always thought they were a hair metal band that somehow crept into the early-mid 90's for relevancy. The song is an atypical power balad but the imagery is great.

ONLY good Pearl Jam song right here and epic fucking video done by the animation team responsible for the 90's Batman cartoon and the Spawn cartoon.

I've also always liked the video of Hammerhead by the Offspring, although the crude 3D graphics make it look a lot more tame than it actually is.
