What's everyone's favorite way to cook eggs? It's a weird question, but I'm bored and think of random questions. I prefer omelettes

Over easy, call it traditional but versatile and yummy.
I also love throwing an over easy egg on about almost anything improves it. One of my favorite burgers is over easy, hot sauce and bacon - the hang over or wake up.

In a restaurant, I like an Eggs Benedict, but it's too annoying to actually make in the morning.

For morning eggs at home, over easy in bacon grease.

Also scrambled is nice because if you fuck up making some other kind of eggs you can pretend you intended to make scrambled in the first place.

I've always loved a good runny sunny-sideup, but I also love them hard-cooked. You have to cook them just right though; you don't want to cook them so long that they get that green ring around the yolk.

Simple scrambled with pepper and some grated cheese if I'm feeling up to the effort of grating and then cleaning the grater.

I can't pick a favorite. Scrambled on toast with guacamole and sriracha sauce, poached in shakshouka, soft boiled in ramen, and there's this weird method I learned recently where after you crack the egg in the pan drop an ice cube in and cover it for a minute. It's like both poached and fried, but also evenly cooked on both sides because of the steam. I hate runny whites but I want to keep some of that yolk.

I like a style of eggs called shirred eggs, which is basically eggs individually topped with cream and cheese (and whatever), and baked in a flat-bottomed dish at 325 for 15 minutes. They're very much like soft-cooked.

I like eggs prepared in many ways, but most of the time I make either omelettes with cheese, or scrambled (american style). Sometimes I make simpler stuff, sometimes more complicated, but omelettes and scrambled are both really quick and easy, which makes them really nice for a lazy breakfast or lunch.

Sunny side up is really nice sometimes though.

I love omelettes with cheddar cheese and bacon. Maybe some sweet onions or mushrooms for a greater variety of textures.

We must not forget the role of good cooking equipment. I only ever make eggs in my vintage, off-label Wagner skillets. The size 8 is my go-to for omelettes and the size 5 is more for ordinary scrambled eggs.

I like my eggs mixed with a pound of ground sirloin, diced onions and Worcestershire sauce, slapped into patties and grilled, served on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, BBQ sauce and some cheese.
