Considering they tried to sue Mojang over naming a game "Scrolls" because they said people might mistake it for "The Elder Scrolls" (which is a massive stretch that even Stretch Armstrong himself couldn't accomplish) I kinda hope they lose. They need a boot in the ass.

At this point I think Bethesda's lawsuits should be taken with a massive truckload of salt by everyone, most especially the fucking judges presiding over them.
It's all but confirmed to be taking place in the same region as Daggerfall so it's likely an EPIC REFERENCE to the game that none of their current fans have or will ever play. Besides, gotta focus on the Redguards for that SJWBLM optic.

There's already been like 3 other games in Daggerfall. Why can't they go to Valenwood or something? What new stories can they do there without retconning the place to hell and back? And jesus christ I hope they don't do anything woke because Redguards are the best human race. Really don't have high hopes, at best it will be a mid-tier TES game.
Personally I'd like a game set in the entirety of Tamriel, that'd be suitably "next gen" enough and worth the 10 year wait since Skyrim.
But maybe that's a little too ambitious, but I really can't believe it'll be at least a decade since Skyrim before another TES game, I never would have expected that.

It's going to be a buggy piece of shit with bugs that never get fixed except by modders. Bethesda and Todd Howard are a bunch of hacks that don't deserve a single dime.

ESO has 2 zones for it (which are actually quite good). that's probably all you gonna get for a long while.
also full fledged CGI elder scrolls movies never ever (although, the lead-ups to vanilla eso are already 30 minutes long)

my take it's that it will be post aldmeri dominion or probably the sandniggas, ops, REDGUARDS take on the conflict since they still very much free of the high elves shackles unlike the imperials because of that whole oblivion crisis thing. still i don't think godd todd ever bent over for the SJWBLM, at best silencing/changing a thing here and there to avoid their massive nagging but never bending over. we'll see if he is kneeling to suck em up or not.
stop lying M'aiq, to be honest i've hardly seen the TES series being retconned, the whole plot hole thing is always thrown in the elder scrolls being trolls or retards to justify the TES iteration they might conflict with the rest, daggerfall for instance where the main character gets dead 999 times is one example that was later ascused in the lore as the Numidium Dragon Break with the possibility of the hero having dead forever due to dying in aetherius. makes no sense but it's basically them telling the fans to shut de fuk about it and buy skyrim, ESO's story is waaay before the main singleplayer TES games so they usually explore explanations to expand a view onto something and a few things that might change with the other games as "time passing"
