Ah well, call me optimistic, but I'm hoping once the high of victory and/or shock of defeat starts wearing off people will start realizing what retards they've been, especially once they realize how little things are actually going to change. I know some people are going to be morons no matter what, but hopefully some of the people I legit respected and thought were at least semi-intelligent. I mean, they're no hope for some people (looking at you, Steven Colbert), but I know some of the people I liked were intelligent before the election cycle came around. I don't want to believe politic's "showed their true colors" like some say, I perfer to think of it more like how a reasonable person turns into a total asshole once they get behind the wheel of a vehicle. Yeah, it might make you think less of them, seeing them lack self control, but doesn't mean they're a complete nut case.
