If Biden was coherent enough to be anything other than Kamala's puppet and neither the Woke Left Millennials and Zoomers or the neoliberal Gen X'ers that empower them weren't so downright petty and vengeful, this would be a smart approach.

Pardoning Trump and most of the Capitol rioters outside a few high-profile examples like Baked Alaska or the buffalo Viking dude would be a great way to push a "return to normalcy" narrative more effectively and Trump's pardon would come with the condition that he'd be powerless politically and would not be protected from the social and financial consequences he's already dealing with or from state charges.

It'd be a smart approach and if Trump was foolish enough to leave Florida and wind up in New York or DC, he could be brought up on state charges and then everyone would get what they wanted.

Unfortunately, this is the 2020's and nothing good ever happens anymore and generally hasn't happened since 2008. It's a miserable nightmare and the Woke Left will get their revenge.

Then the question becomes whether or not Trump was intentionally trying to incite violence that day.

At this point, I honestly think even he was surprised by the Capitol riots. Everyone was taken aback when it happened because nobody expected the MAGA crowd to do anything other than stand there and bitch and complain like they always do.
