There's no point in even reading reviews of Disney/Marvel stuff anymore. Black Panther will be identical in quality and tone to Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, and the last five or six of their products. It will be... fine.
You’ll be sending a message to Disney: please take my money.
That, and I fucking hated that last Thor movie.
If I want to see a good superhero film with a black lead I'll stick to Blade thank you very much.
Black people in movie theaters is the worst experience you can think of, so I’m skipping this as well.Everything about this whole situation is so fucking autistic. This focus on 'bigotry' being the reason people hated movies like that abysmal Fantastic Four or that all-female Ghostbusters didn't save those movies. Why would reeeing about everyone being big, mean bigots save this one? This is the first MCU movie I will not see in fucking theatres, not because I dislike the PoCs, but because I'm finally just tired of these endless cape movies. That, and I fucking hated that last Thor movie.
fftopic:I haven't seen it, what was so terrible about it?

Just to clarify, a 100% rating on rottentomatoes doesn't mean that it was rated perfectly. It just means that 100% of critics they aggregate (usually the same magazines and sites) gave a positive review, which can be anything from a 3/5 to a 5/5.No.
Just no.
Too much no.
Oh, dear Lord, no.
More proof of how RT is useless. Movies ain't perfect, nor free from criticism/detraction... Especially if it's capeshit.
Depends on the movie. I had a blast watching Cabin In The Woods in a mostly black theatre.
Because "that wasn't real Communism!". Or, basically the same logic.Technically we still don’t know whether or not shamelessly using the hurt and anger over decades of discrimination and the solidarity that comes from standing against it to make money at the box office would work for a movie that isn’t fucking terrible.
