I've noticed this since childhood but nobody else has ever said anything about it before. I don't know if maybe they're just pretending it doesn't exist, or if they really can't smell it.

Well diet is gonna have something to do with it too. Asian kids with a FOB mom smell different than somebody who's 5th generation.

And to think that all this time I thought it was just me.
Blacks certainly do, but I'd also say other groups have their own scents too. I'm thinking particularly Indians and arabs, not just talking about their food either.

Omfg no this is true. Between hooken up with blacks and nude models I worked with that were black, they all had this same smell.
Every race has a distinct smell. Some are more pronounced than others but its nearly entirely due to diet. Try eating curry for 3 or 4 days in a row and I can guarantee your body starts smelling like an indian no matter what race you are.
I knew a black guy from Cameron when I was 14 until I was 16. He was in my class and I guess hormones were firing because he always smelled. It was no horrible just a strong musk like a male goat but way more subtle obviously.

Asians seem to be the least stinky. Which is probably why deodorant use isn't as wide spread in east Asia.

omg same here! All the nude models I hook up with that are black have the same smell and even some of the latinas, but the ginger nude models don't have it (i work at a wendy's)

That has been my experience, as well.
I guess I can't argue with the science posted in this thread - it is SETTLED science, after all, and to disagree with settled science is ignorance and hatespeech.
I never thought people inherently smelled different, just that maybe some groups smoked more weed than others. But I suppose Science says I'm wrong?
