It wouldn’t shock me if both Marvel films (the other being The Eternals) get bumped to 2021. This might benefit the MCU to have an “off” year after Endgame. It will give audiences a chance to get excited for one of their films.

For Scarjo it's not like rough night, that divorce movie or jojo rabbit did gangbusters. capeshit is probably the only way for a lot of these folks to make the millions they're used to making. Jojo was a great movie and should've won over parasite, but that's irrespective of her contribution.
Imo she should have been nominated for Girl With a Pearl Earring.
People give her shit for her acting in the films but like.....you can say that about pretty much any actor in the MCU. (In the DCEU Gal Gadot and Ezra Miller outrank her in the shit department)
The strength of this particular cast (Scarlett, Florence, David, Rachel) is the main reason I'm excited. I think that they will work well off of each other. Also they have referred to the film repeatedly as a family drama which is quite unusual.
GwaPE was a damn fine piece of cinema as everyone in that movies was playing at the top of their game. Highly recommend watching it to show the difference between a Cinematic Drama and CapeShit.
I feel like she has a rep for being a shit actor because she gets cast as the badass action babe who shows no emotion but she can't really pull off that kind of character without seeming wooden.
Most people know her as Black Widow who's all stoic and snarky, but the writing in the MCU is mediocre and with Natasha almost always being relegated to side character there's really no room for nuance, like "Oh she's stoic but it's because of all the fucked up shit she's experienced." Then she got cast in the live action GITS, which had the same issue of stoic character with incompetent writing/direction so again she came off as wooden. Hopefully the solo movie changes that, but now that she's out of the MCU maybe she'll get some roles that let her emote.
At this point it is inevitable. The price is bullshit but then you remember how much tickets plus food cost....
You can still release it streaming and have a red carpet premiere and shit.
