I don't think BLM really count as a terrorist org. Most of them are liberals who are against guns. Compare them to the historical Black Panthers who were Maoists and believed in armed struggle. Put those two together and you have use of violence to advance a political ideology so it would technically be terrorism.

Plus Black Panthers was organized and BLM is decentralized, anyone can start a BLM chapter and be part of the movement because it doesn't have any real leadership. BLM is just a liberal identitarian movement LARPing as radical. That time when they went into the university library screaming was so cringey. All they do is whine. If I correctly remember his autobiography, Malcolm X converted to Sunni Islam while still in Saudi Arabia, when he returned, he was planning to take his movement into more peaceful methods and diverged even further* from The NoI before his assassination.

* He already left the group and was already in conflict with its leaders just before his trip to Mecca.
