Boaxy added those categories to the Sailor Moon articles on the sole basis that "five main protagonists who each have their own articles are LGBT." When he says that, I assume he is referring to the five inner Guardians (Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter & Venus), which clearly, they are not LGBT-oriented.
The only LGBT characters that Naoko Takeuchi (creator of Sailor Moon) ever purposefully wrote were Sailors Uranus & Neptune. Yet, during the time that the 90's anime was being made, during the times that Takeuchi had no say in the anime story, some of the people at Toei Animation tried to add or change certain characters' sexualities (i.e., Kunzite & Zoisite, Sailor Starlights), which Takeuchi herself did not like, period.
So, even if those five minor characters
are LGBT in some shape or form, however, those characters do not necessarily dictate that Sailor Moon is themed or targeted towards an LGBT audience because the series is geared towards feminism and female empowerment than LGBT empowerment. Plus, even when LGBT characters do appear, however, they do not stay on the series 90% of time; only for a story arc or a few episodes.
As a result of the above, many editors (including myself) disagreed with Boaxy's interpretation of the categories and opposed his addition. Unfortunately, Boaxy refused to accept no for an answer and attacked other editors for what he defines as "homophobia" and "discrimination" because he didn't get what he wanted, and continued to be pushy because he wanted Wikipedia to be "politically correct."
Currently, Boaxy stands banned from the site for continuing to make personal attacks against me and refusing to follow consensus or stop edit warring. I also had caught him socking on the site, which led to him really getting the boot.
