Basically Richard Madden is an ex-soldier with PTSD after his unit was caught in an IED explosion in Afghanistan who's now a police officer, after talking down a suicide bomber on a London bound train he finds himself put on duty as a bodyguard for the Home Secretary (Keeley Hawes) while accusations of leadership ambition and her controversial act is being debated in Parliament.
