I recently saw this video, SCP Overlord, and I want to make stories like this, and the creator mentioned he read books to make his writings as close to what special forces would do in paranormal situations, but I don't think he mentioned specifics.

Do you know any websites or books from say Archive.org that teaches military jargons, commands, equipment's, special forces breach and enter, weapons, tanks, aircrafts, etc. that would make military stories like Modern Warfare 2 "real" yet entertaining? Apparently there we're military people who we're in the comment section in videos like this who said the actors' communications and breach and enter was similar in actual life, save for minor errors like the construction boots these actors wore instead of military grade boots.

Anthony Horrowitz did something like that when writing his YA Alex Rider novels. He wrote in a foreword to one of them that he was almost-certain he had ended up on a watchlist because of his search history.

Are you intending on writing modern military fiction or historical?
