It doesnt matter. When youre on the right side of history you get a pass. Look at IASIP. They are huge SJWs in their personal life and admit to not even letting their kids see anything more offensive than marvel movies and disney bullshit.
Youd be surprised how many writers comedies have, Jon Stewart never had less than 20 for a show that did 60 minutes of content a week for 40 weeks once you take out commercials and interviews.
Quinn or O'neal used to say the reason they needed so many writers was because these hacks couldnt come up with good enough material to work with in the moment. Which is probably pretty accurate considering how badly daily show alumni did on tough crowd. A 99% crowdwork show.
If the writing staff doubled that means a lot more time spent editing around clips to force a narrative like its space ghost

I must be the only person who thinks Borat movie was terribly unfunny. His "dumb foreigner from a backwards shithole persona baiting people" gets from funny to tiring pretty fast and it's like the same comedic scetch redone over and over several times. The second half of the movie felt like it would never end
I liked Ali G movie tho, maybe because beside the "over the top wigger" shtick there was an actual plot and some general comedy in it.

Borat is the kind of movie that should not need a sequel since the original is already a master piece. i still remember watching it premier on the theater with my friends and i was so close not getting inside since i did not pre-order my ticket but had spots open up in the last minute. half of my school was there. hell, even some of the teachers (i remember my art teacher was shocked seeing me. nicest teacher i ever had. down to earth kind of guy) was there as well. only watched some of the borat shorts on MTV before the movie and i did not think nothing of it. the movie blew me away and i simply could not stop laughing!
dosent help Sacha Baron has become such a cunt over the years with his support of the ADL, being anti-trump, overall kike supporting Isreal and seeing Borat not as a comedy, but as a call out movie to shame Americans and the American way of life while he tricked and abused the village people he had on set.
overall, its just another cash grab and i hope it burns.

This is going to be another Anchorman 2, Dumb and Dumber 2, or Zoolander 2 isn't it? Too many years too late and only done because the actors need another paycheck? All the jokes are the most memorable bits from the first film but stretched out way too long, and popular side-characters get expanded sub-plots even though they existed as one joke-characters from the original?

I can understand doing this for a show where you need a constant stream of content but you don't need so many for a single 2 hour movie, especially one where you're supposed to be the super funny comedian behind it.

It was painfully unfunny, for the most part. Although, I actually think the beginning and ending scenes in Kazakhstan were pretty good (except for the Running of the Yankee bit).
I think it's time to throw the jew down the well.
Everything felt staged and hardly any of it landed for me. The only joke that made me laugh was the Justin Trudeau one. The rest was very boring.
