I was surfing through the Tumblr in Action Subreddit as I usually do every so often for a good chuckle. Little did I know I'd find somebody thread worthy. Meet Brandon "BrandonRambles" Taylor, an SJW Queer Black Man from Madison, Wisconsin that shares a name with a former NFL Safety.

Surprisingly this guy is up for a Ph D in Biochemistry, according to his blog (linked above)

Although he has a twitter (with, unsuprising, over twentynine THOUSAND tweets), he is totally and 100% a tumblrcow through and through.

I can understand feeling a bit put out that a bunch of lame-ass white people turned your Super Duper Amazingly Cool slang into pure shit but it's not like some sort of illegal, immoral thing to adopt words or phrases. Yeah, it's hella embarrassing when a ghostly white gay man claims to have an "inner black woman", but who is it really hurting? If anything, it shows an admiration for black people, if a bit misguided.

Much like any other cringey Tumblrcow, this guy has invented a completely fictional scary boogeyman to rail against in the desperate hope that someone else gives a shit. What's really scary is this dude's unwarranted self-importance and lack of a real life. It sounds like he probably got dumped by a white guy at some point and decided to turn into the gay Hitler version of a Nice Guy.

I'd say you're on the right track, sort of. I'm not familiar with the show he's talking about but the hurt in him is palpable in this piece. I actually feel really bad for him, which is more than I ever could have said for somebody like IDCP. Hitler, he ain't. He's wounded.

Brandon doesn't really stand out as very spectacular among Tumblr types, though. Other than liking the latest Fantastic Four movie and having resentment towards white gay guys and their "stealing" black culture, there's nothing particularly outrageous about him, at least that I can see. He's fairly tame, and very eloquent, if not a bit obnoxious with a bit of bitterness to him.

Eh. I begrudgingly admit he kinda has a point in regards to slang. I'm not an ethnic or sexual minority and I don't care where it this particular slang comes from. I did find the Out magazine article obnoxious because I hate people who tell others what to do and the fact that he is right that white gays didn't come up with terms like "yaas" and "kween" so the whole thing comes off as super hypocritcal to me. But other than that , this guy comes off as a super annoying tumblrina.

Yeah, looks like he's deleted his twitter (the handle now leads to some pharmaceutical shit for some reason) and all of the content I put in the OP. He's still active though, so I archived his current tumblr and capped a selfie from 2 days ago. I'll have to check if TiA has pics of the Fant4stic analysis and the spergrage that got him noticed later.
