A small hint to anyone interested in archiving juicy threads: use old.reddit.com instead of www.reddit.com. archive.md will back up the entire thread.
In the tradition of left-wing subreddits like /r/LateStageCapitalism and /r/ShitLiberalsSay along with anti-anti-SJWs comes /r/BreadTube (a).
The website breadtube.tv (a) is also apparently associated with this little group.
From the subreddit's description, /r/BreadTube started out as a fanclub for left-wing YouTube content creators that gradually grew into its own discussion space for politics, the latest cultural trends and other topics associated with leftism. The group takes its name from Peter Kropotkin's book "The Conquest of Bread". They've gained a relatively small but appreciable following at40.3k 41k 43.1k 48.5k 57k 66.5k 107k+ subs (and they don't stop coming), eclipsing /r/ShitLiberalsSay by over 32k.
As the subtitle implies, all of them absolutely love ContraPoints and ride his dick at almost every opportunity. There is some dissent, but rest assured, it is decidedly in the minority. It would be an exhausting task to list every solitary thread where /r/BreadTube collectively jizzes over Nyk's latest video, but to keep things brief, here's a small sample:
As to the userbase of this subreddit, an enlightening post came from a user who explains his transition from anti-SJW to BreadTuber (a, old):
Speaking of Gamergate, here's a particularly painful thread (a, old) where they react to an admittedly cringeworthy thread about Three Arrows on /pol/, although most of the responses in the /pol/ thread strongly suggest /pol/acks simply don't care. Not that any of it matters to /r/BreadTube who gleefully sneer at the /pol/ OP, but somehow, Gamergate gets brought into this discussion:
In another thread, we learn exactly why right-wingers are so easy to radicalize (a, old) and why it's necessary to confront your privilege to be a good leftist:
As you would expect from these subreddits, they collectively HATE Pewdiepie (a, old) and blame him for radicalizing kids into becoming right-wing. This thread was reopened in light of the Christchurch mosque shooting:
A stir happened in thread (a, old) about Riley Dennis's video "Your Preferences Are Discriminatory":
Things got pretty spicy in a discussion titled "What the fuck is happening /r/ContraPoints" (a, old). Special thanks to @Nykysnottrans for bringing me up to speed on the adjacent subreddits involved in this shitshow. Those interested can read his take on the matter here.
Because the OP was deleted, here's a back up to some of the comments that were posted in response to the drama. This whole fucking drama started because Merari, the moderator of /r/ContraPoints and over 200 other subs, allows pictures of police dogs to be posted in a sub with pictures of animals, /r/Eyebleach. Nyk's far left fans hate anything associated with cops including cop dogs: "I don't understand why r/Eyebleach doesn't just ban pictures of police dogs.". These people hate cops so intensely that they are triggered at the mere image of a police dog. Nyk's cult rebelled against Merari allowing pictures of cop dogs to be posted demanding that Nyk boot him off the /r/ContraPoints sub, when Nyk is not actively involved with his sub on reddit and Merari was actually the one who originally started and ran the sub:
One of the batshit troons from /r/LateStageGenderBinary was a mod on /r/ContraPoints but he left the sub as a result of the cop dog drama to form his own breakaway sub, /r/ContraPoints2. Because having /r/ContraPoints and /r/BreadTube was still not enough, there had to be yet a third sub.
Anyway, here's some more screenshots from the whole affair:

It seems a decent swath of these users were holdovers from Gamergate that gradually got bored and switched sides either from fatigue of anti-SJW monotony or simply because they weren't so secure in their own beliefs. What's more interesting is that the OP links to a video whose uploader claimed he "learned to be racist" from the alt-right. Tellingly, OP also calls the alt-right a deathcult.Meat_Wagon said:I said this in r/bomberguy but it fits here as well,
Truth be told I used to be one of those people.. I used to watch a TON of anti-SJW YouTuber (Sargon,Bearing,Hunter Avelone) and I just nod my head to everything they said. I honestly believed that pink haired women on tumbler who only had 5 followers was gonna be the fall of civilization. The only reason why I got out of it is because these dipshits talked about the same fucking thing over and over and over and over again and I got bored, and l eventually lost interest and distanced myself away from it. I eventually grew out of it by looking at other much more interesting topics and I eventually found HBomb and Shawn and they showed me the true nature of these “Anti SJW” type..
So yeah.. thanks guys and in a way.. thank you “Skeptics” for being so dull and uninteresting that you literally bored me out of it ..
These people rely on ignorance, they use fancy euphemisms like “white identity” or “race realism” to trick people in to falling to they’re believes. The only way to combat this is education and teaching people (without talking down at them) that this shit is wrong and extremely dangerous. Like previously stated, these dip shits rely on ignorance and if we remove that ignorance they got nothing.

*mods of /r/dogswithjobs ban /r/chapotraphouse users from every sub they moderate, which includes /r/contrapoints

Just a little club starring T_Dumbsford, awkwardtheturtle, Merari01, and siouxsie_siouxv2 meant to harass and defame users who don't obey them. Remember targeted harassment is a-okay as long as you're a career power mod and work as slave labor for the ad…

Get rid of Merari

No, /r/contrapoints moderators are not considering banning CTH users via bots. That is a lie. The /r/contrapoints moderators have repeatedly, explicitly, pointedly stated that they are not banning CTH users for posting in CTH, neither manually nor by bot.
