Those Ren & Stimpy "adult party" cartoons from 10 years ago were pretty awful-- way too nasty even for ren & stimpy standards. Like, the time R&S lived in a spittoon? holy fuck.

That one Napoleon Dynamite animated series. It aired well over a year late and a dollar short and I knew from day one it would be cancelled since it was after the whole Napoleon Dynamite fad. It just didn't have the brilliance that the movie had and they didn't even bring back Lafawnduh even though this was supposed to take place after the events of Napoleon Dynamite so it would have been nice experiencing Kip's married life a little more since I really love that whole relationship considering I met the love of my life in a chatroom as well and watching the movie again makes it all the more funnier. Not to mention I just was not a big fan of the art style really, I guess it would have grown on me, but ick...

^ yeah I'm sitting on my hands hoping splitsider brings it up soon. It was around that same timeframe that "Allen Gregory" was on Fox too, and while the animation style looked straight out of the early 90s, I liked the storylines. I was the only one though, lol. Fox canned it so fast.

You know what's a show I hated that I was glad it was cancelled? "The War at Home." It was trying to be "All in the Family" but here's the thing - it was probably okay for an aging Archie Bunker was a racist homophobe in the 70s, it just wrong that a middle aged father in 2005 would be the same. Different time, different values. Pretty much the show was about him freaking out his daughter was dating *GASP* a black guy and he was worried his son was gay because he didn't like sports. They threw in he was Jewish, like to be like "Hey, it's okay, I'm Jewish" but I don't think that helped. I think the only reason people watched that show was because it aired between The Simpsons and Family Guy on Sunday nights and people didn't want to change the channel.

Bonekickers. easily the most godawful shite the BBC ever created in every single way, as well as the most offensively smug, arrogant, pretentious, self righteous and ignorant thing I have ever seen on tv.

For non Brits here is the bleak lowdown.

A tedious archaeology/drama show with a cast of some of the most wooden, annoying, and downright hateable characters ever put on screen, the most insipidly stupid and poorly researched stories ever put to an archaeology series, and a worldview from the writers that is guaranteed to offend pretty much everyone on the face of the earth.

The shows sole purpose was to deliver the most idiotic and smug "politically correct" sounding sermons that would make the crustiest social justice blogger wince, on how everyone in the UK aside from the protagonists are racists/idiots/insane christian fundamentalists and should be ashamed of themselves.

However the offensive part comes in it's attempts to lionize whatever "non british" element appeared in any episode, which worked about as well as Birth of a Nation's defence of "good negroes who knew their place". Muslims are caricatured as idiotic fucktards and spineless pacifists who need the "heroine" to save them as they cannot defend themselves (or in another episode that they "dont really have any faith" in Islam), africans are depicted brainless and superstitious tribesmen who do funny dances at the drop of a hat... yeah, Iraqis are bigoted jingoists who will preach about how europeans are no better than cavemen, and germans are ultra sensitive little pussies who will burst into tears at any mention of the first world war.

While its attempts to portray the UK as one step away from becoming Norsefire from V for Vendetta are hilariously face-palm worthy (for americans, think of a show that portrays mainstream and modern american society as five seconds away from reinstating slavery and burning all non christians at the stake) its the chauvinistic and contemptuous attempts to pander to non white/non british/non christian groups that make this show so irredeemably shite.

The only video reviews on it are Diamanda Hagens and give a good taste at how abysmal it was

Oh yeah wasn't that on Fox? I remember the son had a friend who's gay and was interested in him.
And that was the joke...for like the of the show.

There was this show on abc a couple of years ago with bob saget. I don't remember the name of the show, just that one time my mom was watching it, and there was this constant joke that bob thought his underage daughters friend was hot.

I remember seeing a bit of a show called Sit Down, Shut Up. Due to having little memories of seeing the first episode of that show, I can say that I did not like it and that I am glad it was cancelled due to being boring.

You've got the AD cast mixed in with the SNL cast, reading scripts worse than most SNL skits. I don't know why they thought this would appeal to Arrested Development fans.
