While both are fantastic designs to make any vexillogist creme their panties, there is a clear winner for what represents an upstanding, formal CSA, and what represents the warrior CSA. If we are to not distance ourselves from the warrior side necessarily but to also display we have a formal side, we should use both flags.

On this topic how do you like the southern rock genre from the 70s and 80s that really defined media representation of the south for years? I mean can you name one show or movie that takes place in the south that doesn’t play fucking free bird or simple man?

There’s something so soul soothing about listening to simple man on your porch while the crickets chirp. The south gets a lot of shit but you won’t find the nature or culture anywhere else in America. Most places up north just don’t have the climate to even grow or provide habitat to the plants and animals that live in the south.

Yeah in terms of climate you guys have it the best, winters are shit up here and the novelty of having a lot of snow wears out real fuckin fast. I'm glad I live in a state with decent gun rights, nearly every state around mine are major pussies when it comes to that stuff. The political climate in a lot of New England blows

There’s no place better to retire than the south, the only better place would be somewhere in eastern europe or southeast asia where you can live on 100k for the rest of your life. But if you don’t fancy getting mugged by gopniks or assfucked by thai ladyboys, the south is the best to go. I recommend deep south from louisiana to georgia for climate, but a lot of places further west and/or north also have decent climates and real estate.

It's hard to say, I may end up moving somewhere else in the US if my state continues being a disgusting swing state, it's good for the time being but who knows how it'll be 10 years down the line. I like the overall historical feel of New England a lot but not so much how it's become recently

There’s plenty of history in the south especially if you go to New Orleans, lots of french and spanish architecture. For me the South has everything you could need. Low taxes, cheap real estate, loose gun laws, rich history, beautiful environment and strong culture.

I plan on visiting New Orleans to see the old architecture one day definitely, maybe parts of Florida as well
