That's another crazy thing about this -- he's not going to get rich dragging people in front of the BCHRT. That's just not how it works. However you feel about the BCHRT or Yaniv's claims in particular, it's not gonna set you up for life. He's not out-of-pocket for anything (like, the BCHRT can't order a refund or compensation for lost wages or anything). And they don't always award emotional distress damages (or whatever) but when they do, it's usually under $10k. It's never gone above $75k, and that wasn't anything like the ball waxing fiasco -- and that's still not set-for-life levels of cash. Maybe he got a few grand here and there from a "settlement," but it's just not a lucrative pastime, especially now that the JCCF is involved.

It's just another power trip from the guy who wants to bully brown women and exploit pubescent girls.

How much wiggle room would the salon or the employees have in this case to deny based on credible fear? Yaniv is a locally known figure for racist, predatory behavior, and he's been filmed threatening and outright physically assaulting people. He's not some rando that they have no idea who he is, especially women in a group he's already targeted. It's legit that a salon, or any other service where personnel are left alone in close contact with a patron, would be within their rights to bar a dangerous person from the premises.

What I find telling is this:
In normal cases where someone of the LGBT had been slighted, someone comes out of the woodwork to be like “oh guuurl don’t worry. We will provide that service for you and then some”. Such is the case with LGBT wedding cakes and transgender hair cuts. Business wouldn’t do them, people had a fit, and some woke business took up the services. Sometimes for free.

Who the fuck calls your company uses your companys emergency on site after hours services, and then after the work is done and a week later of using the labor / service that was paid for asks for a refund becuase they decided they made a mistake and realized they didn't need the labor that was completed, the labor they repeatedly insisted on being done, a week later? WTF is wrong with these things? Its like calling up your ISP and asking for a full refund last month because you were out of town and forgot to cancel service despite it being used in that time period for the home automation. Judging on what Cousineau wrote in her last judgement on Jonny boy here, he's gonna win this case. She stated that while trans women are women a d have a right to gender affirmative blah blah, no-one should be forced to touch someone else's genitalia if they don't feel comfortable doing so. This case is about leg waxing, not genitalia.

Yes, he's only targeting forruns again. Yes, he only did it because he wanted to take it to tribunal, and having lost the last case he wants to punch everyone in the face metaphorically and win his right to make people wax him somewhere. And not, he doesn't actually want his legs or any other part of his anatomy waxing (he could do it himself at home if he was that desperate, ffs), he just wants to cause trouble. And this is an easy way to get another hit of being everyone's most hated fat pedo in a dress.

As Ronan Ogre pointed out, the legal case about waxing troons is one they want to push in Canada. This is a new try at eating away the protections businesses have from weirdo litigious perverts like JY. If he can get the court to rule in his favour about leg waxing, he can demand as many forrun women wax his legs as he likes, whether or not they say they only do real women, their husbands won't let them, or it's against their religion. And I have no doubt that if he wins this case he'll do exactly that - not because he wants his legs waxing (oh, he'll ask for arms and chest and butt too, I'm sure) but because he gets off on making people deal with him with a fake smile, knowing they're incredibly uncomfortable with it.

(I'd go as far as to say that's the whole reason Jonny trooned out - to force himself on people who can't say no. He has no interest in being female, but if getting attention means getting a full face of makeup done at Sephora, he'll go through with it because it makes his microdick hard that the girl having to powder his face is hating every second of it. Tl;dr JY will win this case, because it's not about genital waxing, and men are women if they say so in Canada.

It seems like he has a good case, however, there are still some things that could work against him.

1. His blatant racism. The fact that he specifically targets immigrant women (whom he claims aren't clean and he doesn't want to have anything to do with them) makes it possible to paint this as a form of targeted harassment, which it totally is. All of that information is already known not just to the kangaroo court, but the public as well.
2. Leg waxing involves being in your underwear or naked from the waist down. We all know Yaniv would opt for naked. If it were arm waxing, that would be one thing. We are still talking about having to be in close proximity to someone's genitals if it is a full leg waxing. And JY would have a boner the whole time (although, he's tiny so maybe it wouldn't really be noticeable).
3. This isn't going to look good for Canada or the kangaroo court. You've got immigrant women of color being preyed upon by a white guy pretending to be a woman. Most people aren't sympathetic enough to troons to be on board with that. If he were targeting white women, maybe. But, it's awkward to reward a dude who has made racist statements and thinks the smelly immigrants should go back to where they came from.

Honestly, if a troon calls asking for waxing, and a troon threatens to claim discrimination, just say yes. Make sure to tell him that for legal protection, there needs to be a male witness in the room when the procedure is done. Just like they have a female nurse in the room when a male doctor does a gyno exam. Guarantee he won't show if he knows there will be a guy there to keep him in line. If he does, claim there was an error in booking and it was put down on the wrong date. Offer to reschedule. Then contract out his waxing to someone who will do it, preferably another troon or a dude. If it has to be a woman, an older Chinese woman would be good because she won't coddle him. They can be brutal and brutally honest. Would be fun to watch that.
