As a liberal (or maybe formal liberal at this point -- I've gotten quite disillusioned), it pains me to admit you are right. It's like there are no adults in the room anymore.

It seems like he has a good case, however, there are still some things that could work against him.

1. His blatant racism. The fact that he specifically targets immigrant women (whom he claims aren't clean and he doesn't want to have anything to do with them) makes it possible to paint this as a form of targeted harassment, which it totally is. All of that information is already known not just to the kangaroo court, but the public as well.
2. Leg waxing involves being in your underwear or naked from the waist down. We all know Yaniv would opt for naked. If it were arm waxing, that would be one thing. We are still talking about having to be in close proximity to someone's genitals if it is a full leg waxing. And JY would have a boner the whole time (although, he's tiny so maybe it wouldn't really be noticeable).
3. This isn't going to look good for Canada or the kangaroo court. You've got immigrant women of color being preyed upon by a white guy pretending to be a woman. Most people aren't sympathetic enough to troons to be on board with that. If he were targeting white women, maybe. But, it's awkward to reward a dude who has made racist statements and thinks the smelly immigrants should go back to where they came from.

Yaniv is the gift that keeps on giving for TERFs everywhere. Bless his racist, misogynistic, greedy, pedo heart.

Honestly, if a troon calls asking for waxing, and a troon threatens to claim discrimination, just say yes. Make sure to tell him that for legal protection, there needs to be a male witness in the room when the procedure is done. Just like they have a female nurse in the room when a male doctor does a gyno exam. Guarantee he won't show if he knows there will be a guy there to keep him in line. If he does, claim there was an error in booking and it was put down on the wrong date. Offer to reschedule. Then contract out his waxing to someone who will do it, preferably another troon or a dude. If it has to be a woman, an older Chinese woman would be good because she won't coddle him. They can be brutal and brutally honest. Would be fun to watch that.

Assuming he was using a real account to request services (since he was called out on that last time) it could be deducted that the salon became aware of who she was talking to and refused services based on Jonathans predatory nature. Stuff comes up with simple google searches. So I am not sold on this being discrimination because of the "Trans" status. It could be simple to argue that they simply were not comfortable providing the service to him because of his own actions.

Additionally he did actually ask for a Brazilian in his original request. and resorted to a leg wax after that was denied.

Society is deteriorating and getting soft. It lacks the collective will to correct his behavior. Just 30 years ago his antics would see him permanently disfigured. Today, people are so afraid of causing offense or being punished by the law that practically no one has the nerve anymore to just break this idiot's nose to stop him. That incident in the elevator with the pepper spray, or the one with his cane and the reporter were both perfect opportunities to do it. It would only take once. You might go to jail, but he's going to the hospital. You'll have a better time than he will.

A broken nose causes agony and disorientation in the moment (intense pain, temporary blindness, tasting and swallowing lots of your own blood), remains immensely painful while it's being treated in the hospital, and serves as a sore, tender, delicate eye sore of a reminder of his lesson while it heals. Breaking his nose would instantly defang him and take him out of the fight. Professional fighters may be able to tough out a fight with a broken nose, but our pudgy dopefish here would immediately back down, cradle his leaky snout and cower in fear of another blow. He would go far out of his way to avoid ever experiencing it a second time.

He's literally never experienced any tangible (to him) negative consequences for his actions. Never. He loves the negative attention. He knows the judgments against him in his tribunal cases will never be enforced. He knows he's "safe" no matter what he does because no one's ever just said "fuck it, I'll take the L" and socked him hard in the face. He relies on people deciding he's "not worth the trouble." He's just lucky he's never met someone of means (physically or financially) who decides he is worth the trouble.

I'm sorely disappointed in his neighbors for not dealing with this properly (how fucking hard could it possibly be to catch this potato off guard in a quiet hallway and wail on him with a sack of oranges? It's not like any of his neighbors would narc), but more so the families of the women he victimized. Not one angry husband, father, brother or son took care of this problem when it cropped up. Canada must sterilize its men somehow, because here in the States I've met several men who wouldn't hesitate to brutalize a man who victimized their children like this (male or female) and leave him to die in a cornfield somewhere. I don't know where that instinct has gone in the Canadian zeitgeist. But they need to get it back somehow.

In fact, I see the salon he was in communication immediately gave a recommendation to a different salon.
Would be a shame if those tweets happen to be used by the defense.
