So either he's lying or a family member or friend is tweeting on his account. And if the latter is the case, why haven't they locked the account yet?

The tweets made after March 9th are written in Brooks' voice. Even though his friend claimed that Brooks' wife was handling the twitter account (and with the help from other family members), I doubt that she is. Compare these two comments and you'll see what I mean.

On a side note, Brooks' wife plans on doing a stream and have her kids help talk for her. Brooks only has one child and that child is a only a few months old. I'm going to assume the other children are from a different father.
She also goes more into depth about his condition. The story is different than the story his friend told. There are no mentions of Brooks partaking in a steak eating contest. Instead, he had a sudden heart attack when he went on a walk with his family. He also did not have the heart surgery (like his wife previously mentioned) because he did not trust the doctors. If this isn't a sock puppet account, maybe she misspoke because English isn't her first language.
The account was created on May 25, 2021 so that's why I'm assuming it's a sock puppet. His wife's name is also misspelled. If you look up Brooks' dox, her name is spelled Shelby, not Shelbie.

There is a tweet about Brooks not being able to make it to a livestream on May 5th and he hasn't appeared in any livestreams since March 9th. It's possible that he actually had a heart attack and went into a diabetic coma. Having a blood sugar level of over 600 mg/dl is dangerously high and it would cause serious cognitive impairment, coma or no coma.
