My gf has been looking for info on a series of murders for six months and can't find ANYTHING. Now she's got my interest, so obviously I came here. This is all the info I have, if anyone can help me find more, I'd be eternally grateful:

It really does sound like something from Reddit with the NDA bit added in. When you have information on cases like H. H. Holmes, and Albert Fish, how bad was this murder with it's cages, bodies, and rats. Holmes' hotel was burned down in an "accident" that's the closest I can think of. If this case happened recently it would be all over the news. They love stuff like this.

Seriously though, when it comes to cases where a fucktunne of people were murdered in horrifically gory and disturbing ways it will inevitably wind up on the youtube/reddit tru-crime circuit and receive a solid amount of coverage, or at the very least be featured in a bunch of "TOP 10 SPOOPIEST UNKNOWN SERIAL KILLER" vids which all ensure such cases recieve a solid amount of google-accessable coverage and commentary.

The only exceptions are either shit that happens in third world shitholes where the only records folks can access are little better than wikipedia and tend to be a touch unreliable, or shit from the mists of history that somehow managed to slide under the radar like the Mulatto Ax Murders of the 1910s and are too obscure to easily source for significant coverage

Thus its almost certain that "cages full of murdered children and grannies rotting and being violated by rodents" is at best some tall tale from the internet, or at worst shit that you saw in a movie and forgot was fictional
