I think the OAXIS stuff may be enough for a thread on it's on as it goes on. My understanding is that on top of being a netflix equivelant the "plan" was also to have a heavily moderated youtube clone for "clean" videos and also an old school AOL network style network of internet sites separated from the world wide web. He expected people to believe that he could start that for a quarter million dollars?

I rely get the Cooking With Jack "things I don't like/understand happen in the world and it's all because the gays and atheists are destroying civilization" vibe off of Butch too, and you kind of have to be a dumb fuck to think like Jack.

It's less about Hartman himself and more about his followers crying ableism for daring to say that artists should practice often. I was hoping for a thread for these people, I didn't count on him being a (potential) lolcow myself.

Just watched the part where he says he "surreptitiously" includes Christian values and parables in his work to get his message across, and that he tries to keep his faith on the dl so that'll be easier to slip past people's defenses and slowly convert them.
Doesn't this type of shit go directly against the religion he wants to promote? I actually have a background in Catholic education, and I was taught that the Bible instructs you to always preach the truth of Christ, as those who would reject the truth are not real followers. Pragmatically denying faith in order to "infiltrate the ranks" or even to save your own ass is something that is directly frowned upon, as evidenced by when Peter despaired over fulfilling Jesus's prediction that he would deny their relationship three times before the night's end. Although, I guess it shouldn't be surprising that none of these people can actually live up to the impossible standards that they claim as ideal.
@waffle I believe the majority of the funding is likely to come from Christian organizations, who as I said earlier are easily swayed into supporting this type of shit (see the "God's Not Dead" trilogy and the depressing amount of people that actually payed money to see such hyper-victimhood propaganda). The kickstarter was likely just made to scam pathetic nostalfags that idolize him out of as much extra money as he could.

A lot of people who say Butch hasn’t done enough to justify a thread aren’t looking forward into the future. You really think Oaxis is just going to go smoothly, as planned? I predict a chimp out in the near future. Go into the comments section of anything he’s posted recently, there’s tons of people getting angry at him, and these types almost always crack under the pressure.
Scam artists due tend to play armchair psychotherapist, as if there's anything other than the armchair. Seeing Butch and an SJW chimp at each other would be grand.
