Its school system was the best in the world and many movies made it that era like Bullet or Its a Mad Mad World made it look great.

Ronald Reagan killed off the state when amnesty was granted and that one Bill Clinton judge made it worse.

The state is a giant echo chamber and many of the conservatives whites are gone or ready to leave.

If there is any hope for Republicans, it will come from Asians and Hispanics as you can write off mud people from the Middle East or Pajeets or the obivous, niggers.

There are a lot of pissed-off people here. At the state/county level, least in our county, this ChiCom Flu thing has been horribly mismanaged. It's as if CA government from the "governor" on down lost their collective minds due to the power trip, and they are now working their hardest to piss everyone off in one way or another. Can't go to church. Can't eat indoors at a restaurant. Masks inside public buildings. Schooling totally disrupted. In our area, beaches were closed off for the Labor Day weekend. Hotels closed, resorts closed, fucks over hospitality employees. Barber/beauty shops closed off and on. Where I shop for food have to wear a mask and can have only one cart, when I used to use two. Maybe the most outrageous thing is when "protesters" were allowed to "protest"/loot/riot/go crazy sans masks or distancing, but people couldn't go to church and and worship. "Governor" says "follow the science". He sure as hell isn't. Hope we are able to get enough signatures for that recall election.

California was once one of if not the greatest states to live in. However them days are long past now.

Okay, let's say Newsom gets recalled and a replacement has be voted on. Do you really expect the new guy to not also be a far left dipshit? With as hated as Davis was, he was replaced by somebody who could at best be called a RINO. And that was almost 20 fucking years ago. Cali's been hauling ass leftward since then.

Depends. Buy a week's worth. Like to put perishables in one cart, non-perishables in the other. Don't like having my food crunched. I have my system. And sometimes I fill both carts.


@Stoneheart - Yes, affects all churches. Some are having services in person anyway, to varying degrees of official harassment. One large church in Los Angeles is fighting LA County in civil court. Case cannot be heard until January 2021 at earliest due to ChiCom Flu restrictions. No, I don't like eating outside - bugs and weather.

@Super Hans- I was here for Gray Davis' recall. Newsom has fucked over this entire state enough to not just be recalled, but ridden out of Sacramento on a rail. Anger level growing here very quickly, even among medical types. If we don't at least have a recall election this gives Newsom license to keep doing whatever he damned well pleases. Better to use the ballot box than the cartridge box. Anyone else elected will understand they'd better get this house arrest lifted NOW. Not needed at all, was all political after two weeks.

@/A/non Prince - Nah, plenty where I shop, at a military commissary (military supermarket). Military makes sure of that. Just don't like having my stuff crunched. ☺
