I would say that the first two acts of Batman Begins are amazing. The third act stumbles a bit ... But it's still quite a good movie. And, hell, it was a ballsy movie for its time. If any of Nolan's Batman movies deserve heavy criticism, it's The Dark Knight Rises. Now that is a dumb movie (though I still admittedly enjoy it).

And I am of the mindset that if you don't enjoy Batman: The Animated Series in any way, then you are probably not a Batman fan. Period. lol.

I think RLM said TDKR is a messy movie and I certainly think messy describes it better than dumb. Like being trapped in the prison and the only way out is a leap of faith, Miranda Tate turning out to be Talia (with none of the League of Assassin's panache), Catwoman is there for some reason. A lot of threads and themes strewn about all over the place in that movie.

Oh yeah TDKR is a fucking mess of a movie. Its like Spiderman 3 in that its still very enoyable... just very very dumb. Now that I think about it the raimi trlogy and the dark knight trilogy mirror each other: the good if a bit uneven first movie, the somewhat overhyped but still excelent sequel, and the third movie that has some good moments but overall drops the ball though is still enjoyable and highly quotable in its own way

Even Tolkien hated that joke. He makes it very clear in the novels that Pipe-weed is a type of tobacco. Tolkien loved his tobacco. Also, apparently Rags has read the novels but hasn't in a long time.

Wait a minute Southpaw is angry at people using the "it's a cartoon" line with BTAS? That's a huge load of irony given how he's used that exact same line whenever people criticize Spiderverse. He nitpicks the hell out of SM2 to the point of insanity but the second someone points out something doesn't make sense in Spiderverse he goes "It's a cartoon!". You can't defend your own sacred cow animated movie for the goofy animations that aren't realistic, then judge BTAS as if it was live action and throw a hissy fit that a thermos wouldn't open that easily in real life.

More superchat catch-ups, this has been going on for over a week I think.

I believe he's currently working on 3-4 different things at the moment, which are all EFAP Movies if I remember right according to the Discord, I'll check again tomorrow when I have time. But sheesh this superchat catch up thing is even more ridiculous at this point. Not even VTubers like Gura struggle with superchats as much as Mauler does, and they get way fucking more than him. Sometimes they'll dedicate a stream to superchat catching up but they'll do their best to be brief and move along with them as fast as possible, while occasionally slowing down for jokes/interesting superchats, while maintaining that swift pace. Yet Mauler and co. are an exception, since they have no damn life and don't care about taking literal months to go through a back log of superchats while going on constant tangents. I know I've discussed this before, but it's just so nonsensical it boggles my mind.
