Post your favorite anime and cartoon soundtracks in your language or in the one you like.
If you haven't had any translation, you can also post people from youtube who made a cover in your language.

In the 90s, early 2000s we Germans were blessed;
nearly every anime and most cartoon songs got a german translation.
Because of that we have gems like this.

Digimon adventure op - Butterfly
In german the song is called "Leb deinen Traum". ( Live your Dream)

Digimon original digivolution song - Brave Heart
In german "Wir werden Siegen". ( we will win)

Literally every Digimon soundtrack got a translation.

Tale spin was named "Käpt'n Balu und seine tollkühne Crew" in german.

It's largely unremarkable, but I encourage everyone to listen from 26 seconds to around 30 seconds in for some absolutely masterful translation work in "Puzzlement".

And have yourself a compilation of the Pokemon theme song in multiple languages. Pretty rad.

The 1980s high school romantic comedy with a psychic twist anime Kimagure Orange Road got localized dubs in Europe where at least the French version, "Max et Compagnie", and the Italian version, "E' Quasi Magia Johnny", had essentially the same theme song (completely different from any of the Japanese themes) except in French and Italian respectively.

On the other hand, the Catalan dub of Kimagure Orange Road got theme songs that were straight adaptations of the Japanese themes, using the same animation as the Japanese openings and endings.

I once had a penpal from Germany many, many years ago who sent me several tape copies of the German Sailor Moon music, it really impressed me what they got out of the show that we just didn't have over here. They even had their own pop group called "Super Moonies".

Certainly kept pretty consistent with this theme outside the Japanese original.

France and Italy seem to like doing that a lot, sharing certain shows/songs like that. I suppose it made sense geographic-wise if one country got the rights to distribute said show elsewhere.

Reminded they did the same with Maison Ikkoku. I kinda dig their take on "Sunny Shiny Morning".

Back in the days when Pioneer still sold anime on Laserdisc in North America, they dubbed pretty much every opening and ending song in English.

The most unusual one was the opening for Tenchi Universe, the English release of the first Tenchi Muyo TV series as the English version was performed by the duo Sonia, the exact same singers who also performed the original Japanese version. I'm not sure if they recorded an English-language version specifically for the North American release of the anime or whether they felt like recording one for other reasons and Pioneer decided to use it for the dub as it already existed and, as such, they didn't need to record a new one from scratch.

A Latin American Spanish dub of the opening also exists, though I doubt Sonia was directly involved in that one.

If you're both a 90's anime-loving weeb and a sperg you might notice that the Latino Spanish version of the song is a second or two out of sync with the animation compared to the English version (and the Japanese version, though I couldn't find a video of the opening in Japanese on Youtube). I'm not sure if that's just how it was in Latino Spanish or whether it's an encoding problem.

I wouldn't doubt Pioneer did this on purpose. I suppose it was just an easy excuse to get an English version done when possible. I used to buy these tapes and loved the production values.

I used to see this version on Univision a few times. I'm sure it was probably done by some studio in Mexico and they probably redid the music without using the original tracks if they didn't receive no-vocal types..

Pioneer was pretty unique in that respect. If only because they got to operate their own subsidiary stateside and coordinated these efforts between countries very well.
