Maybe it was Korean War, I don't know

Is Chris just as bad at history as he is at geography?

Also lol at him getting kicked out of cub scouts for tarding off.

He keeps trying so hard to get her to move in with her. On the first date too, I guess he really is a lesbian!

It's so messed up he's thinking about spending the rest of his life with a girl on their first date.
The other guy on this "date" is a really good conversationalist, and a good example of how to carry a conversation on a date.

"I never moved out of my parent's house, but I went to an anime convention once"

*snicker* Bob maintained satellite feeds in the Korean War :geek:
Kind of surprised they sprung for a mausoleum for Bob.

Skyraider, I don't know how you kept a straight face when you told Chris he had a high metabolism and low risk of obesity XD
Chris seems to be doing a hell of a job with bucking his genetic fate.

I wonder if Bob did shortwave broadcasts in Korea. Hopefully it was something cool, like numbers, and not just jamming northern propaganda with Voice of America 24/7.

Hah, Chris really found it to be an ordeal to read that entire Wikipedia article on lesbianism in America

What was with all the marriage talk on this date anyway? I thought Catie hadn't been leading him on in quite that way, but everyone was just talking matter-of-factly about how the marriage was practically a done deal.

Upon being reminded that Bob served in the Korean war and not WW2

"Ok maybe the Korean war, I dunno"

Upon being qestioned about long distance relationchips

"I'm willing to put in the effort"

(Then basically tells her to move in. Find a local library job)

This is just what I feared. Chris had every reason to believe that Catherine was interested in marriage. Al is bringing it up because, presumably, it had already been a topic of conversation between Chris and Catherine. In an ordinary date situation, Catherine would have told Chris in no uncertain terms that marriage talk was way premature. But here we see that Al and Catherine act like tards and assume it's the most natural thing in the world to contemplate marriage before the first date. I was willing to give Catherine the benefit of the doubt, but here we see clearly that she was leading him on. It's no wonder that Chris would say in December that she seemed like a different person.

Since I'm drinking and off my meds, and because the mods will fuck me over for letting the ethics discussion spill into this thread, I'll shut up now, but I can't wait to see the emails that preceded this date, to see Catherine's placid silence in response to Chris's bizarre assumptions.

I am more excited about the next 'episodes' of this than for the newest Better Call Saul episode to come out.
It's absolute gold, you play a fantastic job at pretending you know nothing about Sonichu/Trolls/Borb/the clusterbomb of madness that is Chris's life.

I have no idea how Skyraider and Catie sat through more than an hour of this. He just prattles on about the most mind-numbingly boring stuff. I'm picturing Catie jamming a fork into Skyraiders thigh every time he starts to nod off from boredom...

And there's 8 more hours of this?
