Given the recent controversy with the woman stalking Keanu Reeves's girlfriend, I thought it would be interesting to have a thread about the creepy unhinged stalkers.

Madonna, Bjiork, Kate Bush, Frank Sinatra, Rebecca Schaffer, they are all victims of stalkers.

Here's a summary
Keanu Reeves' girlfriend Alexandra Grant has joined the list of celebrity girlfriends being stalked and harrassed by their boyfriend's crazy ass fans.

A Los Angeles Superior Court Judge granted a temporary restraining order against a 67-year-old woman named Cathryn aka Katherine. The stalker was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Alexandra, her home and work and prohibited from contacting Alexandra on social media or posting her photo online.

Alexandra said in the petition, “The harassment commenced after Petitioner was romantically linked to world-famous actor Keanu Reeves, with whom Respondent is disturbingly obsessed. Mr. Reeves is aware and included in Respondent’s numerous social media “hate accounts”, which are comprised of literally thousands of posts.”

Alexandra also says Keanu's obsessive fan has trespassed on her home and took photos of her car that were then posted online, shown up to her events, and was constantly “monitoring and tracking Ms. Grant’s activities, including posting photos of Ms. Grant’s residence online.” These actions are said to have caused Alexandra extreme and substantial distress and she is fearful the harrassment will continue and escalate.

Keanu and Alexandra are currently in Berlin, where Keanu is shooting the next Matrix movie.

I used to have a friend who's a stalker. To this day she legit thinks that Stephen Fry thinks she's a friend of his, follows him around to every event he does, and if it's a show he's doing for a long time she'll go to 8-10 of those shows, while giving him tons of gifts every single time she sees him in person after his shows. She hasn't stalked him at his house...yet. But she's so delusional that she thinks that she's friends with him. I cut ties with her because she's obsessive and creepy.
I saw another fan of his who was so desperate to meet him that she found out what hotel he was staying at, then she went to the hotel and went after him.
So I've seen first hand how these celebrity stalkers act and think, and it's terrifying. What's really creepy is that people like my ex-friend and all the rest of them have convinced themselves that their favorite celebrity likes them and wants to be around them.

Leonardo DiCaprio had a celebrity stalker in 2010 who claimed she had a child with him. Her stalking was mostly in emails.

From a Daily Mail article from 2010:

According to documents filed by DiCaprio at the L.A. Superior Court Bistriceanu claims she is married to the 35-year-old actor and is carrying his child, Jesus.

DiCaprio says that Bistriceanu has repeatedly attempted to contact him through emails and has even tried to visit him at his home.

He states in his court filing that she is: 'sending me unwanted and unsolicited letters in which she expressed delusional thoughts and irrational feelings, calling and showing up at business I am associated with and, most recently, locating and travelling to my private residence.'

At his house, she acted 'aggressively' and was 'yelling and screaming'.

He also revealed that she has vowed to live with him in the afterlife. '[Bistriceanu] maintains a delusional belief that she is my wife and carrying my child, Jesus...and has threatened that we will live together forever..in His Kingdom,' the actor said.

The Inception star states: 'I am frightened of Ms. Bistriceanu and feel that my personal safety, and the personal safety of those around me, is in jeopardy.'

41-year old Bistriceanu, who is originally from Romania, lives with her elderly parents in a small apartment on the North side of Chicago.

Her father, Ilie, who speaks only broken English, said of his daughter: 'She no good in the head.

'She always is on the internet. She's more on internet than she talks to me or her mother.'

According to the court documents Bistriceanu travelled to Los Angeles earlier this summer, turning up at an event attended by DiCaprio in late July, then at his home two weeks later.

She was spotted by security guards near the driveway, sitting on a suitcase. She was taken away by police, who took her to hospital, where she is still being held according to her father.

A series of creepy hand written notes that Bistriceanu allegedly sent to DiCaprio are included with the documents.

In one, she writes: ' You wrote to me 2 years ago that you love me and you don't love another women (sic). You said I talk to you soon and it past 2 years already and still you don't want to talk to me. Why?'



In another 'Do you want to be with me for real and to be the father of Jesus? I've explained you I can't be with nobody virtually. I have to have a father in reality for Jesus not like this.'

And in yet another: 'Why do you f**k me virtually and you don't leave me alone?'

Bistriceanu has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from DiCaprio or his properties.

She is also banned from purchasing or carrying a gun under the temporary order issued by a Los Angeles judge ahead of a full hearing in September.

The worst stalker I can think of:

Rebecca Schaeffer: murdered by her stalker in 1989. Her death prompted anti-stalking laws.

On July 18, 1989, Robert John Bardo, a 19-year-old fan, shot and killed Schaeffer at her home in West Hollywood. At the time of her death, Bardo had been stalking her for three years. He had previously been obsessed with child peace activist Samantha Smith, who had been killed in a plane crash in 1985. He then wrote numerous letters to Schaeffer, one of which she answered. In 1987, he traveled to Los Angeles hoping to meet with Schaeffer on the set of My Sister Sam, but Warner Bros. security turned him away. He returned a month later armed with a knife, but security guards again prevented him from gaining access. He returned to Tucson and lost focus on Schaeffer for a while, as his obsession shifted toward pop singers Debbie Gibson, Madonna, and Tiffany Darwish.

Bardo watched Schaeffer in the black comedy Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills in 1989, in which she appeared in bed with another actor. He became enraged by the scene, apparently out of jealousy, and decided that Schaeffer should be punished for becoming "another Hollywood whore". Arthur Richard Jackson had stalked and stabbed actress Theresa Saldana in 1982, and Bardo learned that Jackson had used a private investigator to obtain Saldana's address. Bardo then paid a detective agency in Tucson $250 to find Schaeffer's home address in California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) records. His brother helped him get a Ruger GP100 .357 handgun because he was only 19 years old and had mental health issues.

Bardo traveled to Los Angeles a third time and roamed the neighborhood where Schaeffer lived, asking people if she actually lived there. Once he was certain that the address was correct, he rang the doorbell. Schaeffer was preparing for an audition for The Godfather Part 3 and was expecting a script to be delivered, so she answered the door. Bardo showed her a letter and autograph that she had previously sent him; after a short conversation, she asked him not to come to her home again. He went to a diner nearby and had breakfast,then returned to her apartment an hour later. She answered the door with "a cold look on her face", Bardo later said. He pulled out the handgun and shot her in the chest at point-blank range in the doorway of her apartment building. Schaeffer was rushed to the emergency room of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead 30 minutes after her arrival.

A former US government security lab worker who used office computers to cyber-stalk Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington was sentenced Wednesday to two years in prison.

Devon Townsend used her access to Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico to hack into the crooner's email account, and also tapped his mobile provider's website to obtain the telephone number of Bennington and his wife, former Playboy model Talinda Bennington.

Townsend has been given 60 days to surrender herself to a Phoenix Arizona-area prison. She is expected to undergo mental health care once admitted. For stalking. A lack of musical taste still isn't a crime.

Among the paraphernalia the star-struck fanatic was able to procure were: emails between Bennington and Warner Bros. records; a copy of the band's recording contract; a copy of a check made out to Bennington from the record label; and several family vacation photos.

She also obtained Bennington's 34-page Verizon phone bill, which included the history of his phone usage as well as the telephone numbers of his band mates, friends and family. Townsend used this information to phone Bennington's wife and threaten her.

She also admitted to using Bennington's voicemails as means of trying to locate him when he was in Arizona.

David Letterman had a creepy stalker that would repeatedly break into his home. I hated how the media treated it like it was a joke. Then the shitty woman finally killed herself and the media treated it like it was something to be sad about. It was a good thing that Dave finally got some peace in his life.

Spielberg had a gay stalker that was planning to bind and rape Spielberg in front of his family, thinking that this would somehow make him a star Hollywood actor. He got caught late into his plan with his bag full of rapey gear. The media barely reported on that case.

If you want to dive into some scary stalker behavior, I've heard Kpop groups have some freaky stalkers.

Fan goes on stage and tries to kidnap a singer.

There's also stories of fans slashing themselves because a singer had a girlfriend, fans licking toilet seats that singers used, and fans waiting outside singer's homes. Kpop sure attracts crazy people.

Then there's all this crap.

He received an extremely creepy note saying, “You can’t live without me.” What made it even worse was that the note was written in blood! She posted that she wrote it with the blood from her menstrual pad.
