trombonista clearly meant actual character songs not themes and I'm not a fan of his character song off the album. Instrumental that plays in game is great. Nebula Step is still best puyo song period.

A white lovely lanky man from Ghost Trick. A very niche and amazing puzzle game for the DS.

Not much of an anime guy, so I'll post some from video games I play.

Not only is this song an excellent climactic track for one of the toughest fights in the game, it's also got some damn heartbreaking lyrics from the perspective of Max's dead wife.

This song is special because it somehow manages to convey so many different emotions based on the scene. When you just meet Aerith (fuck you, Aeris is a mistranslation), it feels soothing and calm. It's warm and comforting When she dies and the song plays, it turns into the saddest fucking song ever.

Just fucking listen to it.

This is a fantastic remix of the song, and I love that it's used for the final battle of the game.

This is "Mirai Travel", the main character song for Touma Minami, the sole sister of the "other" Minami family in Minami-ke.

It's a song with powerful vocals that would not feel out of place in the original Bubblegum Crisis. The only problem with it is that, while the song is performed by the same woman that voices the character in the anime, when she sings, she sounds much more mature than her character, who is a tomboyish girl in 5th grade. This is probably because the woman who provides Touma's voice is none other than A-list rock singer Nana Mizuki so I suppose she didn't want to sing below her usual ability just to stay in character.

Another Minami-ke song, "No Problem" sung by Daisuke Ono as "Hosaka", a narcissistic high school boy with many talents, most particularly cooking, who is in love with Haruka Minami, the oldest sister of the main Minami family, but who spends so much time daydreaming about winning her heart that he never actually gets around to talking to her. Half of the visuals in this AMV are from Hosaka's daydreams.

The most famous Hosaka song, however, is probably "Curry Song", which is later reprised by Minori Chihara as Chiaki Minami, the youngest sister of the main Minami family who encounters Hosaka in a supermarket while she's trying to remember the ingredients of curry and who becomes so impressed by his knowledge of curry that she nicknames him the "Curry Fairy". This is also a fun song for Haruhi Suzumiya fans since Daisuke Ono and Minori Chihara also voice Itsuki Koizumi and Yuki Nagato respectively.
