A Chechen wedding without at least three deaths is considered a dull affair.
To be honest, I'm extremely ignorant about both Chechens and Algerians.

I think the frog cops are going to try step back a bit. Only if there's trouble where civilized people live will the CRS or whoever do too much beyond managing it.the french police don't want to have anything to do with this race war and have pre-emptively bailed out of every single conflict in order to save their own skin, as is par for the course for the garlic eating surrender monkeys.
@Azovka Thoughts from a Russian lady/long time French resident?
The Chechen are surprisingly polite about it.
Now honestly, as a Slav, I despise Chechnya. It’s a useless territory whose warlord gets showered with Russian money when it could’ve gone to literally any other region instead of it. Our provinces are drinking themselves to death below the level of poverty while those ISIS rejects build pretty mosques with our cash.
With that being said, the expat Chechen community is different. Having met quite a few of them and their kids during past jobs, they tend to be very educated, polite, and generally integrated compared to other Muslim minorities.
Also, regarding the whole “Chechens vs. Arabs” part, here’s a video of one of them talking about it.
Basically, the dude says that they don’t fight Arabs because Arabs are their brothers. Arabs came to their rescue during the Chechen wars, and they’re one big family. The people they’re fighting are drug dealers that hurt one of their own.
Sorry if there’s any issues with formating - I’m on mobile.
Anyways, I have to support the Chechens here tbh. Those drug dealers are a plague that has been the bane of many a disenfranchised neighbourhood since France is very lenient when it comes to sentencing them. And catching them in the first place.
That's an informative comment but while the reason of the chechens (according to that guy at least) may sound 'just'', it certainly doesnt feel right at all to have this kind of backwater reckoning conflict in the middle of the town within a first-world country that is France. What happened pretty much confirmed (again):
-the french law-enforcement is rather useless to tackle spicy problems like this one
-actually the french system is very much at fault for its leniency to let those kind of things for years/decades as nobody wants to be seen as 'racist', and being worried that this situation will repeat itself elsewhere in the territory thanks to certain communities labels you as a 'fascist'.
-a group of more than a hundred people can siege an entire town for days
-shitton of weapons have been smuggled in a nation where owning a firearm is a bureaucratic nightmare for the average upstanding citizen
