Manning let loose a wanton spray of classified information like it was diarrhea from his gaping asshole without care for what damage it might do. He is severely mentally ill and should have never been in that situation to begin with. Fuck the ZOGbots you say? Thankfully it there is no evidence that there were more. Manning didn't know that and he didn't care. You can be against the war. I was. You can be against how poorly the occupations were handled, but how can you be glad that he put people living in the occupations in danger? These are normal people who wanted to stop terrorists from making where they live unsafe. They wanted their kids to be able to play soccer without getting taken out as collateral with an IED. They wanted stores to be able to reliably get food. They wanted to have power in their homes.

They're specifically sent away from their home towns so they won't be recognized and their families can lie about being away for work. Revenge killings are part of ISIS', they had a series of different names before that one but were the same organization, modus operandi. It was how they were able to rise back to power. They went on a campaign of murdering the sheiks, imams, and muhktars who participated in the Sahwat, Sunni Awakening, that drove them into the desert along with any community leaders and activists that did not preach sectarian division with Shia. It created a power vacuum that they then occupied. I only have experience with ISIS, but I'm willing to bet the Taliban is the same way.
