ChidoriTickles - A Piece of ADF History, 2009 -

I've started putting together a detailed :autism: timeline of ADF, to compare with some of the other folks making similar timelines...but anyway, I came across this small DeviantArt account, which I didn't see mentioned elsewhere, on KF, ED, or the Wiki.

In 2009 the 23-year-old ADF, still going as Phil or a fantasy character name, tried to join a Naruto-focused IRL cosplay group called ~Shrimpyninjaotakupro, or SNOP. It seems to have been lead by a girl named Sheena Glass, who was 14 at the time, with four other members of a similar age (14, 15, 15, and one not archived).

During this time, ADF had a several-month obsession with Sasuke Uchida, a Naruto character he planned to cosplay. (This is noted on the Wiki.) This obsession increased with almost daily journal posts, including a confession on May 8th, 2009 (also on the WIki) :

I really believe that I am rather obsessed with Sasuke Uchiha, but unfortunately it may be to the point I actually want to BECOME Sasuke Uchiha --- that is the part that is getting some people all upset with me

If I am trying to become Sasuke Uchiha, I guess I really must be mentally fragile, to the point I may have an Inferiority Complex.

I cannot find much saved on the period of his joining SNOP (there might be comments on ADF's or another member's archived pages). The Wiki goes on to describe ADF's "Yaoi Love Quest" that summer, but it misses the info on SNOP, as well as the result:

On May 25, 2009, ADF writes an official resignation letter which is posted to the front page of SNOP's DeviantArt page (seen in that archive link).

Actually, I decided to leave become I do not wish to continue being treated like I am some kind of criminal pedophile in the eyes of my cosplay group -- I simply will not bear to wait an agonizingly long time for them to open up and trust me.

The members of SNOP are just simply out of my league with regards to the level of maturity I had (unrealistic) expectations for...My addition to SNOP would have greatly upset the demographics of SNOP -- I would unfairly end up dominating the entire group for the cosplay attention the group would want -- and it would have been a matter of time til jealousy and infighting would cause the group to break up.

Plus, the longer I stay with the group and get more deeply involved -- The more I will get unfairly labeled a pedophile -- whether it be from SNOP Members, DA watchers, parents, and whatnot...

Staying with SNOP would have been externally and internally destructive to my image...I deleted to last journal I posted because I personally could not stand to receive another comment implying I was some kind of pedophile.

GAY =/= PEDOPHILE for the last time. I will say that.

I'll be WAY better off right now cosplaying solo, and then, when I find a loving boyfriend, I'll hope to involve him in cosplay...when that will happen...

Today I decided to create a joint SASU/NARU/SASU cosplay account with whoever will be my future boyfriend...A boyfriend who is like Naruto Uzumaki, one that can quickly trust me, love me, and has a use-it-or-lose-it attitude towards life.

That's the kind of cosplay mate and boyfriend I want...a dobe that can give me unconditional love and the individualized attention I need...

~ChidoriTickles will be the home of the cosplay pics me and my (future) boyfriend when we cosplay together and do SasuNaru/NaruSasu stuff together...I don't know how long it will be until I find a Naruto...but I will find a dobe --- I won't give up looking.

I have been unhappy with SNOP (and Sheena) in the last couple of weeks, largely due to their slow movements in trusting me...I was frustrated with it all. Especially when I was misrepresented as the group's legal guardian to could sign a contract and photographic release for them in botched negotiations with someone who could have been the cosplay's group's photographer.

This is an example of how Sheena used my age as leverage in trying to negotiate a contract:

"ADF is 23 and he would be the one signing it, not me. im sorry you feel so strongly about this but i find it hard to trust anyone who i know nothing about."

That would be Illegal, Sheena. Trying to pass me off as the legal guardian...and one more thing:

PROTIP: Minors can not sign photographic releases and Minors can not enter binding contracts.

If it were not for the shady maneuvering with those negotiations, She went as so far as to put her nose in the personal business and lifestyle of the photographer candidate, she even hit the guy up for a date!

It is against the law in a majority of states to ask that for a paying job interview...

BUSINESS ETHICS FAIL.

So, I guess I fucked up trying to join Shrimpy Ninja Otaku Productions.

They were blinded by having someone 'as cool as me' on their group

and when the shit hits the fan and Sheena screws up, it is taken in one way or another against me.

That why I hate blind sheep as fans here on DeviantART --- look what it got me, problems and aggravation....and unnecessary stress.

I think I made to responsible decision in leaving -- before anything worse happened to me...

P.S. $10 says Sheena will throw a fit seeing this mirrored on the SNOP Account and will delete this.

(TL;DR - ADF is a creepy adult who tries to hang out with Middle Schoolers, and thinks the reason they call him a pedo is they are homophobes who believe gays molest children.)

The following day, he posts to his new ~ChidoriTickles account a similar introduction. The account is created as a "joint cosplay account" with ADF's "future boyfriend" that he doesn't have yet. It appeared to feature a "cosplay" of ADF "shirtless", but alas the link is now broken.

However, on October 26, 2009, ~ChidoriTickles was changed into a "Stock Photography" account. It is still available. There are only a handful of pictures on it, one ID photo of ADF "rollerblading in the park" in Philly**, and 5 "prison inmate" photos.

It probably also didn't help that he was constantly wanting to cosplay (with boys) as an anime couple. Even weirder, he wanted to cosplay as anime couples that don't exist in cannon (ie: Naruto and Sasuke). No wonder these 6-8 graders were freaked out. Some grown ass adult was trying to cosplay and fake date them.

Well, as you describe it, I'd say it was more because he was a creep rather than no respect. I know one leads into the other but I see the fake dating as having more impact than just being an adult in an adolescent group. Though that would definitely add to it.

Thank you. I tried searching but didn't get any hits (I needed to try "cosplay group" apparently). I haven't started digging through 789chan stuff yet for the timeline...there's a world of information on Our Hero.

It's also worth noting Phil writes exactly the same as he did nearly 10 years ago. I presume he wrote the same way 10 years prior to that as well.

Back in his cosplaying days he used to carry around this Sasuke plushie and playing acting yaoi scenes with it. I bet this was the kind of shit that got him kicked out of the group for being a pedo.

So I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that it might be reasonable to assume that Phil is probably a pedo.

I actually don't think he's a pedo in the normal sense of the word pedo, but rather that he keeps seeking out individuals of his same mental age to interact with...which means 14-year-olds. I actually don't think he's got a sexuality at all in the developed sense of the word. (I don't mean that as a criticism, just a fact.)
