Yes he does
Well that was horrifying. Notice how he gets winded after about 4 minutes of incredibly simple danceing.
Also what's the name of the song in that video? I love it!

From my religious perspective, God helps those who help themselves. God isn't going to just magically give you things if you don't work hrad to get them and pray to the Almighty for help and guidance. Chris expects everything to be given to him without putting and effort into it. I seriously doubt he prays nowadays, if he ever prayed to being with. If he ever did it would probably go something like this: "Mmm...Yeah God, It's Chrisshun. There's these damn trolls on the internet that are causing me much stress and heartships and I can't take it anymore! I need you to just go ahead and kill them and their girlfriends and take down that damn slanderous ED and CWCki. Also It's about time you send me a sweetheart to love me and take care of me because I'm tired of being alone and have no one of my own for sweet feelings and sexy times. YOU BASICALLY PROMISED her to me! Also curse that damn JEW Snyder. Da Jews killed Jesus you know. Also make Megan's boyfriend/husband leave her so she can feel all the heart pains that I have felt these mostly 7 years. It needs to be done NOW so I can go back to a happy life. Just talk to my father Bob and he will tell you how much I deserve all this to happen. Amen."

I'm calling shenanigans. Even on the off-chance he knows the word 'nebulous', I can't imagine him using it correctly.

My words, not his. Put into Chris-Talk, "CLOUD MEANIE!"

To Chris, god is nothing more than an ethereal hunting/attack-dog that he invokes to go out and return with rewards (china), or punish those who upset him. Since the dog has repeatedly failed to heed Chris's demands, Chris is currently very displeased with it.

That's how big his ego is.

I think when it comes right down to it, Chris will always retain his belief in God because he's somebody to blame. Beyond the trolls, Snyder, Megan, MLW etc, God is the ultimate decision maker, and the architect of his current life situation, at least that's the way Chris will see it.

Between his vandalisation of the Xbox display and his recent Parking lot incident with the smoker, Chris summed these events up as "God is sticking the middle finger up at me" despite these events being 100% his own fault.

Like pretty much all other arenas of his life, he was only willing to stick around with God for the fringe benefits without contributing any of the effort. I'm willing to bet that even prayer is too much work for him. He probably thinks believing in god guarantees you an easy life.

Not to stereotype, but because he lives in the South, it kinda does.

If you mean in the sense that Southerners tend to be more Christian, they also tend to put more emphasis on hard work and personal responsibility, something that doesn't fit Chris' philosophy.

I've lived in the south my entire life and have never seen any evidence of this ever. In high school practically every other friend I knew had a parent that was either on food stamps or welfare or disability, and a great deal of them had that silly " pull yerself up by yer bootstraps!" attitude and were really loud and angry about people that lived off government checks as long as wasn't them, so I think that comes down more to a "do as I say and not as I do" thing.

Obviously, your experience may vary with that kind of thing. My point is, just calling yourself a Christian and living in the South doesn't guarantee your life is going to be peachy, all one has to do is look at Chris for proof of that.

Doesn't guarantee it, sure, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not a really prevalent attitude and one Chris probably got exposed to quite a lot. And you have to admit self-delusion and a sense of entitlement are hallmarks of Chris's behavior now.

God is dead and Chris killed him.

Nah, Chris still believes in God. He's angry at him, yes. He wants God to give him exactly what he wants, and God doesn't work that way. So he's just angry.

Oddly, Chris's view of God reminds me of his view of the Grim Reaper.

Chris still believes in God, he just sees the Almighty as a troll since God doesn't take down the CWCki or give him a boyfriend-free girlfriend.

Chris thinks God owes him. God was supposed to be doing what Chris wants, and He hasn't come through.
After all, it is NEVER Chris' fault when things go bad. His life doesn't suck because he is a lazy idiot, it's Greene county, jerkops, trolls, manajerks, and God's fault.

What I mean is that it's something people seem to preach way more than they practice. Bob and OPL are probably a good example of this. Bob's been described as "old fashioned" and a "republican curr" so it's safe to assume that he did his fair share of ragging about "handouts" and "free money", but he clearly had no problem turning his son into a welfare leech.

I just think social constructs like "southerners believe in hard work" are silly. They don't, not any more or less than anybody else at least. It's the same thing as the whole "southern girls are prettier" or "southerners are more polite." cliches. I've never seen anything that actually supports it, and it mostly just seems like something pompous southern people say for the sake of being divisive and feeling superior.

I never said it wasn't a stereotype, I was afterall retaliating to someone else's stereotype that the South is full of Christians and will overlook every bad behavior you do so long as you call yourself a Christian. Just saying Southern stereotypes can work against Chris as well as for him.
