Today, I was at the nail salon and among other things I got my eyebrows done. For those of you who don't know what that entails I will tell you, it involves having wax poured over parts of your eyebrow and having a strip pulled over it and then off, ripping the hair off. It rather stings and afterwards if also usually involves some plucking of small hairs. As I sign I spend way to much time on these forums, I thought back to Chris and his tomgirlness and wondered....
Would he get this done?
Of course, not. He would be begging it to be stopped at the first pull and if he made it through the whole secession, he would never do it again. Chris wants to be feminine and pretty like a girl. However he ignores something crucial.
Being a woman takes effort.
Not to say being a man doesn't take effort, but we already know Chris has failed at manhood. In his mind being a girl was all about doing cute, girly stuff like make-up and bras. He never has given thought to the behind the scenes work that most attractive women have to do to keep up their appearances and it is quite clear that Chris doesn't put any effort into his appearance at all. His hair is an ugly mess and so is his skin. If you have go to the skin care section of any store, you will see a wide variety of products aimed at woman dedicated to taking care of the skin; cleansers, masks, toners, moisters, and basic lotions. The hair care section also has a wide variety of care products.
In theory if Chris took the tomgirl thing to its logical conclusion it would actually improve his lifestyle. If he read women's magazine and see they are full of healthy recipes and fitness tips. He could take part of exercises that are dominated by women like pilates and Zumba. However, when it comes down to it Chris is too lazy to put much, if any real effort into femininity, anymore than he use to put into masculinity in the end.
