Why does everyone keep saying that? The only negitve thing she's done to Chris online was make a couple of snide remarks and a tasteless joke.
It's a joke, she's one of Chris' biggest asspatters and (attempts) to block trolling attempts, Chris used to read this forum so it's a tongue-in-cheek joke at getting him to think Anna is actually a troll.

Nah, Chris wouldn't have anyone on his facebook he hasn't met IRL or was introduced to by someone he met IRL.
So that girl is real? wow. I thought she was a troll in disguise. Thanks for clearing things up for me.
I don't know for sure, anymore than I don't know if Anna's secretly a troll. However, if either of them is a troll, they're extremely deeply undercover.

The very idea that any of Chris's friends could be a troll is slanderous and infinitely hurtful unto CWC's good judgements.

She feeds into his delusion, which really isn't good. It's like Rocky... Anna and Rocky are in rare positions to ply some corrective measures upon Chris, but instead do nothing but adulate him and further enable his childishness.

He's 31 years old, only has one parent, all his other family ignore him, he has a criminal history, a history of reckless spending, avoids responsibility as hard as he can, and has severe flight responses that have put him - and innocent bystanders - in danger. It's no longer just funny to keep patting his ass, while he makes dumb decision after dumb decision. He's in serious jeopardy if he doesn't become more responsible before Barb dies, so the stakes of trolling keep growing more and more severe as time marches on. That bugs some people out, here.

If she's a troll, I hope she respects the gravity of the position she's in. If she really is as flaky and irresponsible as she seems online, I think she's a twat. Either way, though, she is a part of Chris' life, and is fair game for us to discuss until we're told not to by the wardens.

Sometimes all you can do for someone like Chris is keep the channels of communication open. It seems like shouting advice at chris hasn't been very effective. It is a very humane thing to do.

Eh... you can keep communication open, but it's not going to benefit Chris any. If someone's keeping in contact Chris because they believe they're helping Chris by doing it, they're pretty solidly wrong. At most you'd do it because you don't care either way, or you find Chris is amusing.

I suspect there's an effective middle ground between Kasey yelling, and Anna patting Chris on the head every time he poops, where someone might be able to get some sound ideas into his head. Even the just the occasional matronal bit of advice, like Kim telling him to ignore the trolls or stop saying homophobic stuff, is better than doing nothing at all.

To be fair to Anna, she has made an occasional sensible post, here and there, like on the "slump" Facebook post. As well, she doesn't owe Chris anything. I wouldn't be surprised if Rocky has offered sage advice once in a while too, but her position does make her a little more responsible.

For sure. Giving Chris advice is like watching a scary movie. You can yell "Oh god! Don't go upstairs! Don't open the door, you idiot!" all you want but he's still going to do it.

If that razor's edge exists, it's gotta be awfully thin. The fact is, Chris does things when he wants to do them, and he'll listen to your "advice" if you're advising him to do something he already decided to do. If your advice is something he doesn't want to do - no matter how perfectly you're phrasing it - then at best you are not being "understanding" of his needs or some dumb shit. And if he doesn't like you, then he'll just declare you a troll even if he previously didn't think that.

Chris is so set in his ways that he'll be playing the PS4 to the day he dies. There really isn't a way of changing him.

Well I would LOVE to go undercover but it is way too hard. My friend and I have always taken a liking to Chris and his shenanigans lol. We are both under 18 so we don't fit the sweetheart bill at all, luckily lol. It still scares me to be female and stalk Chris in the way that I do.

As for the Anna thing, sometimes I wonder if she is a troll or if she is trying to "help" chris but whatever she's doing she is doing it better than I could ever do it HAHA. When all of this Chris stuff started I was probably 10 years old, maybe even 8 or 9. I'm just glad to be "safe".

I guess with a loose definition of troll, maybe. To me, a troll has to have intent. If you try to help someone, but fuck up, I don't consider you a troll. You have to actually be trying to mess with someone. Anna's actually trying to help Chris, she just does a shitty job of it. She's just very far up her own ass (and Chris') and focuses on the wrong things when trying to help him.

She's not using Chris as bait, I don't think. I think she hates that trolls can beat her in her friendship with Chris. Remember when she was trying to tell Chris the sign saga thing was fake? I bet that burned her up when Chris didn't believe her. Anna thinks it should be as easy as saying to Chris "they're trolling you and it's fake" and Chris'll just say "you're right, oh thank you anna." But it's not. For both trolls and Anna (and anyone who deals with Chris) he's so crazy and stubborn. It's hard for anyone to change Chris' mind.

It's probably best, if you're concerned about results, to work with Chris' craziness instead of trying to oppose it constantly. :stupid:

Just now I started to write essentially this, but a lot crappier. Just quoting it is probably more effective.

Be glad. Be very, very glad. XD

I fit Chris' sweetheart criteria nearly perfectly, and I used to be so terrified that he'd try to approach me and force me to date him during a visit to family in Virginia... then I learned he's far too passive to ever do something like that, which is a bit of a relief. Though I still feel like if I ever by some chance encountered him in VA and decided to try talking to him, I'd be putting myself in the line of fire... :?

My friend and I actually thought it would be fun to see Branchland for ourselves by driving past it, I mean, I'm not going on that "property". I think I need to dress up as a "homo niggo" and bring a fake cigarette so I will not be subject to "be made a sweetheart from the ground up".

Chris is damn shy. You'd have to go up to him first.

I hope that's the case lol. Probably why there isn't much to say for his "neighbors". I'm not one for starting conversations with other people either but I don't use signs or rocks to attract potential "sweethearts".

One of these days, when the planets align in just the right way and I find myself with a car to nab while visiting family, I plan on taking a trip to see 14BC or myself, and then head to C-ville to buy some Pogeyman cards at the Game Place.

Hopefully I can manage this before Barb kicks it. :(
