During the start of his Love Quest he was 21 - 22 according to his signs, looking for an 18 - 22 year old. But through the years as Chris has grown older, has his preferred sweetheart's age grown with him? We already know Chris has ridiculous preferences given what he's trying to push. Pleasant on the eyes, thin, b-cup, no darkies. Has his age preference changed or remained the same? It would be pretty creepy if it hasn't, considering the thought of a 30 year old man who looks like a 50 year old woman going on about wanting a boyfriend free 18 - 22 year old.

I suspect it will always be 18 - current age. Legal is all he cares about in the age department. The rest of his criteria has stayed the same I think.

I think Chris was familiarized by someone about the age creepiness rule (where the lower bound that borders normal and creepy is your age/2 + 7) which lead him to raise his minimum age to 21. We had a very similar topic on his age requirements a few months ago, pretty much that the social norm or at least presented in popular media Chris consumes is that a man's ideal mate is younger or the same age as he is, which would shape Chris's requirements.

Do a search for it, fuck if I'm going to.

only 18 because of "those dumb laws"
There's probably more to the lower limit on Chris' lovequest than just the law. Chris doesn't really want a relationship with an underage child because he wants to be the child in the relationship. He's looking for a mommy surrogate after all. A young, sexy mommy surrogate, but still a mommy surrogate.

That's not to say he wouldn't dig in if some sweet, sweet underage china was shoved in his face, but it's not his ideal.

CWC wish that he's in Japan. 15 years old is the legitimate age there. :P

I thought it was 13 in some areas of Japan.

Yes and no. The federal age there is only 13, but every prefecture has additional legislation raising it to at least 16.

The age of consent is below 18 in most US states.

But anyway, yeah, he might've mentioned 21 is his new minimum age, but it's also a possibility that he'd just stick to 18-current age. I don't remember what his current range is.

I think he said 25 in his eHarmony posting, where he was looking for a "Future Wife". I wonder who told him to use that particular phrase.

Chris probably came up with it on his own, figuring that the youthful twenties are for dating and that the more mature thirties are for marriage.

Right now he should consider someone older, there is no way in hell a 20 somenthing is even going to consider waste her youth on a fat poor autistic tomgirl (:_(

We should remember this is Chris' stated age range, which is only hypothetical, even to Chris. Whatever age range he states is only the standard he wants other people to think he has, and that he wishes he actually had as well. His actual standards are much less stringent. Real life Chris is much more likely to take whatever he can get, regardless of actual age. But so far, at least, whatever he can get has been very little, because Chris fails to understand that other people have standards too.

Oh, yeah, of course. There's always a difference between what Chris says and what Chris does.

Also between what Chris wants and what he's actually willing to work to get.

And how he believes that if he makes the "right" choice he'll still get the other option for being a "kind-hearted person."

See, that really bugs me. I read up on the games Chris has and I noticed that Chris owns both Infamous 1 and Infamous 2. For those of you that haven't played them, in the games you have to make certain moral choices. In the first game one of these choices involved making a choice between your sweetheart and a group of scientists that could help humanity. The catch was that the one you didn't pick will die, you don't get both prizes. To pour salt on the wound, if you pick your girlfriend, she will get mad and kill herself, leaving you with neither choices. It makes me wonder if Chris learned anything from that.

Hell, he also owns Bioshock and that's probably the same reason why he only played that for a matter of minutes: moral choices are stressful!
