Take for instance his current state, he spends his days blaming the the CWCki and the forum, hell, he probably thinks that we're ALL of the trolls, not just a few. And yet we're probably the only people who'll actually listen to him without A-Logging or running away in terror. I had another instance of irony, but it slipped my mind :?

Chris revealed his incontinence to the trolls to counter allegations that he wore- and enjoyed wearing- women's underwear. In 2011, he made a post on TToV claiming that he switched from briefs to panties. It would probably be more ironic if he stopped shitting himself, though (then again, maybe he has).

That one time where Chris called out a youtuber named "sonichuizcool" calling him naive and slowinthemind completely unaware that "sonichuizcool" was not only an actual "slowinthemind" but was also his only real fan.

^ When the result of something is contradictory to expectations. I.e. when you assume something and it doesn't turn out that way, it's a broad definition, but characteristically it's when something is DIRECTLY contradictory to expectations. So yeah, it's ironic how Chris makes fun of Liquid's voice, and yet has an equally, if not more, annoying voice.

...and despite mocking Liquid's voice, as far as I could tell he was just doing his own regular voice when he was actually trying to impersonate Liquid for Liquid's own girlfriend.

The most recent bit of Chris irony I found... you know how we were wondering what Chris thought "all-around" meant when he used it by itself as an adjective? Maybe it meant well-balanced, or down to earth? Of all things, it could be a quality he thinks he shares with a cyborg samurai/ninja from Tekken:

I've got up to 2007 on my trawl through the timeline and I think I might have discovered why he thinks all-around means something by itself. It looks like it's a reading comprehension fail from this email from Megan:

But there was something about Yoshimitsu's costume that "spoke" to me. I liked his threatning [sic] expressed mask, and his Japanese hat. I just liked the way he looked all-around.

Would this count as irony? or just hipocrisy? I don't think I even know what irony really means

Technically it means using a word for something other than it's actual meaning (sarcasm is an easy example of this).

In the broad modern usage it can also mean using something without engaging with it so as to subvert the original intention (so I might say I'm wearing a Care Bears shit ironically; not because I like Care Bears but because I find the idea of me liking Care Bears to be amusing. I'm not wearing it for it's intention (saying "I love Care Bears") I'm using the shirt to "mean" something else ("Hey guys, how funny would it be if I loved Care Bears?") So that's why Hipsters all wear the same hat.

Note: I do not own, nor would I wear, a Care Bears shit.

Edit: How could I forget dramatic irony? That's a special kind of irony that can only exist in a work of fiction. This is where a character lacks certain knowledge that the audience possesses, and so says or does something out of ignorance that has a different meaning to the audience because of their secret knowledge. A boring example of this is every time a character in a TV show says "what could go wrong?"

That's a very good point. Almost everything Chris says is dripping with dramatic irony. I was actually being a little too general when I said it only applies to fiction, the real requirement is an unseen audience. Chris is actually a fantastic example of dramatic irony outside the realm of fiction.

Da Chris'tard never got the memo that Liquid's "annoying nasal voice" was an impersonation of da Chris'tard's annoying nasal voice.

These days I am convinced that Chris lacks the ability to grasp irony. I think the Lars videos sealed that deal. Chris can happily and obliviously tell someone to stop playing with toys and get a job. It never occurs to him that the traits he ridicules are the traits that define him. Our boy isn't even savvy enough to grasp that much of the sagas were about creating a pastiche of himself. They were trolling, sure, but their underlying aim was to tell him to wake up and realize what a useless and lazy slob he's been and to get his life together. I don't even think Chris is registering it as an acceptable double standard. He is so naive that it does not occur to him that he is attacking (fake) people that represent his bad traits. Godbear help you, Chris. I think you were born with part of your brain missing.

I actually think there's a great deal of truth to this, possibly including the part about some of his brain being missing. That's not an insult to Chris, that's a logical conclusion based on what we know about Autism. We know he is unable to grasp many abstract concepts, so the concept of "irony" may be outside his grasp as well. This actually wouldn't be his fault, it's possible that he's simply not wired to look beyond the literal meaning of anything.

If it's any input, Chris didn't noticeably shit himself at the trial. I thought he did that during stressful situations? Pleading guilty in front of a judge and two strangers that you are AWARE of and suspect are there to be trolls (he made eye contact with me a couple of times. I tried not to look at him, but...) would probably have been the most stressful situation of his life.

So maybe he stopped.

Actually, I don't think it totally went over his head. I think it's like the instance where he called Alec "naive" over the phone. Somebody used it as an insult against him, and he realized, "This hurts my feelings. I wonder if it will hurt the feelings of my enemies?" and repeats it back to the next troll that comes along.
