Chris and public status updates -

Okay, this has probably been discussed before, but considering the recent events I can't help but wonder, why does Chris keep posting public updates to his Facebook wall?

Not too long ago, he made a post asking everyone to "Leave Me Alone and Quit Talking About Me At All, you pinheaded Trolls!!!". However, right after that he continues to make public posts. I know his private posts can and will be leaked anyway, but it's the public ones that baffle me.

One could say that in truth he doesn't want to be left alone at all and that he enjoys the attention he gets, but I'm not so sure about that. If the trolls' attention causes him so much unwanted stress, and has actually ruined his life and his good reputation - which actually he did himself, but in his eyes, it was the trolls, and he did nothing wrong - why put things like his new video or the apologies to Megan out in the public? Doesn't he realize you don't need to be his friend to see that and anybody can see it? Why keep making some private things public after he went to such lengths to erase trolls from his friends list and his Twitter and such?

The answer is probably because it's Chris, but it can't hurt to ask, right? Do you think he enjoys attention from trolls? Does he really think people will stop screencapping his posts just because he asked us to? Is he just THAT stupid?

The short answer is, yes, he is THAT stupid, and a longer answer would be really complicated, a simple version of it is because he's trying to gain pity from his ex-highschool classmates by uploading those public states, even if that goes against what he wanted a few days ago...

That makes sense. Though I highly doubt his ex-highschool classmates check his profile on a daily basis. But we do know the extent of his unwarranted self-importance.

I actually don't see the inconsistency. He wrote that message in response to a facebook leak. He probably chooses which posts to make public and which to make private, which is a fairly normal thing to do. He was upset by the leak, because it overruled those choices. I don't see that that means he doesn't expect public posts to be read/discussed.

Not even anna and the assspat team give a shit about chris, this is why he wanted us to troll that walmart manager, sure, he saw us as if we were his personal army, but still, it shows that when he needs help, we are one of the firsts and only options that he has in his life...

Nah, Chris genuinely doesn't want the attention that he gets from the trolls. People suggest that theory a lot because they can't understand why he would make public posts. The thing is, nowadays, Chris has been a lot better with his facebook security (at least compared to how he used to be). He makes use of facebook permissions and a majority of his posts have specific permissions. The september posts, for example, were only made public because Chris added the wrong person.

When Chris does make public posts, he does so because he has someone who he wants to address who isn't on his friends list. He believes that those messages somehow make it to their intended targets, because he's so famous, of course.

So, yes, Chris really doesn't want the trolls in his life and yes, he's stupid as shit and believes his public posts get read by who he wants to read them.
