In another topic thread, Chris explained how others were dragging Sonic's name through the mud. However, Sega has done the exact same thing with stuff like Sonic '06. Is Chris not willing to admit that Sega is partly or even fully responsible for the way people see the Sonic series?

Chris hasn't demonstrated any talent for being able to differentiate good creations from bad ones. The only negative comments he can ever make are about stuff literally no one else would ever know or care about. He faulted LBP because the mod kit wasn't tailored for Sonichu building. He faulted Fox for changing a voice actor for a show that was still very new.

I don't see any way Chris would fault Sega for the decline of the Sonic franchise. In his eyes, they can do no wrong, especially since they stopped making hardware and started making games for "Chris Approved" Sony and Nintendo consoles. And people who no longer view Sonic the same way they did in 1992 are TRAITORS!

See Chris and brand loyalty. For Chris, the right label is the main criteria for quality. If it's an official Sonic merchandise then it must be pure gold, unless there's something in it which Chris considers to be truly outrageous. For Chris to denounce an official Sonic game/cartoon/comic it will have to do something like making Sonic's sexual relationship with Tails canon.

Since I don't play vidya too much I'm not familiar with all those consoles and games so maybe there's something I'm missing, but as far I understand this is not a denouncement of any Sonic game, but merely an expression of sadness over the end of a certain series of games (I'm not sure to which series he's referring exactly and I'm too lazy to find out).

He's responding to some fake news story that said that sega was looking for a new mascot I believe, where there was rumour of axing sonic. And "stopped their console series at dreamcast"? Does he understand why they stopped?! They basically just poured money down a hole with their last two consoles and thenthey realised "holy fuck if we keep doing this we're gonna go bankrupt!" it wasn't a decision, just a survival technique. (not dissing the Saturn or the DC. I love them both dearly and they are my favourite consoles of their respective era, but sega really cocked up on the business side of things).

However I've changed my opinion since my last post in this thread. I don't reckon Chris is a sega fanboy anymore. He's a sonic fanboy. Hes blaming sega somewhat, at the moment of writing this he thinks they're axing sonic, so he thinks they're stupid for taking away his one true obsession. The only reason he doesn't blame sega for sonic getting a bad rap is cuz he still likes the games they made. Cus he's a sonic fanboy to the extreme and that means he must love every game even if it sucks (I'm sure there's a quote somewhere to that effect that he says to his fans during ABL's saga... "if you don't like everything I do no matter what, you're not a real fan" basically).

Okay, now THIS pisses me off. I am not one who is to be blamed here; there are a lot of sick people who perverted Sonic's good name. Especially those who made him out as a homo, when he is not. Hell! He had a thing going on for a long time with Sally Acorn in his comic book series.

As has been mentioned before, Chris appears to have spent years (who knows how long) building a richly detailed fantasy world around the Sonic and Pokemon franchises. This explains why he reacted so strongly when ABL intruded into his world with Asperchu. But the dynamics of this is a topic for another thread.

Sonictards are the worse. They will go out and buy every console that there's a Sonic game for, even buying the same game for each console, they'll constantly rebuy every rerelease of the games. They think every Sonic game is pure gold regardless if the game sucks or hasn't aged well. If you say anything otherwise they'll froth at the mouth and start speaking Latin backwards and their eyes will turn red before they attack you. They get way too involved with the fan community, their fan characters are essentially gods that can do whatever they want and will probably pair them up with actual sega characters. They yank their crank to Sonic porn or are involved with it in some way shape or form. They will also attack other Sonictards if they feel that others are destroying the reality that they have built for themselves

Chris is a Sonictard, he will defend any Sonic game regardless of quality. Treats his Sonic fan characters are canon to the Sonic universe and will blame other Sonictards for the declining quality of Sonic games when he is in fact in the same category as them, even though the fans have nothing to do with it. He wants to believe that Sega can do no wrong when it comes to Sonic because they created him. Because Chris doesn't want to blame himself or Sega, he will, as always, gladly assign blame to anyone he can.

The funniest thing is that to some Sonic fanboys, whoever dislikes the modern Sonic games and compared them to the older Sonic games are automatically retro Sonic fanboys.

After reading IGN's review of Sonic and the Black Knight, I couldn't control myself. I just had to make a rant about the review along with what I think about idiocy in the Sonic fanbase in general.

Now, I'm not trying to bash those who hate certain games. We all have our own opinions, but when I saw that stupid review, I just couldn't take it anymore.

Another thing which pisses me off is that the Sonic fanboys bashing other Sonic fanboys such as Chris or Sonmanic even though they are doing the exact same thing. GSTSuperWorld87 is one example though. Although he rants about Sonic fanboys, the irony is that he is a Sonic fanboy himself. In fact, he made some piss poor Sonic fan characters (Did I mention he made "Michael Jackson the Hedgehog"?), made some sprite videos which are almost as bad as Sonichu (maybe not that bad) ,being a trollbait as he rants about trolls and being a hypocrite.

Finally, Sonic fanboys have zero idea about trolls. They basically act like internet superheroes who think trolls are the supervillians. Take the trolls mariotehplumber and Gligar13Vids for example. They made some piss poor game review videos which show obvious trolling (In fact, one person actually met Gligar13Vids on Skype chat and he's actually a good guy), the Sonic fanboys flip their shit and take these videos as SERIOUS FUCKING BUSINESS. They also want to false flag their videos for justice, you know,the exact same thing about how they accused their favourite target RJ Bandsma.
