Ok, so, i wanted to know what does Chris thinks about superstition currently, or what do you guys think that he thinks about that... i mean, sure he's :stupid: and believes that God plays kick the autistic, he belives in curses, so, my question is, how far can he get about that topic?? also, i know that his "curse-ya-me-ha" was supposed to give bad luck, but, he still believes that? or maybe he changed that to something else? maybe a "curse-glare" or something? or maybe he doesn't believe in luck as much as he believes that if something bad happens to him, it wasn't because of luck or him, but the ]:(P

So... that's pretty much my question...

He's always been superstitious. It is that in and itself that had caused the failure of the Love Quest. Noviophobia? "The Fear of the girl you talk to having a boyfriend?" And he assumed all girls were like that, due to superstition. What a moron, so the girl having a boyfriend means you can't make friends with her?

Oh, wait, this is Chris, only china exists to him when it comes to females.

He believed in Santa Claus until he was 19 and has to repeat to himself that movies are fake, such as the time he saw Cannibal Holocaust.

I've met 9 years old who are smarter and more skeptical than that.

Of course Chris is superstitious. Superstition is basically religion for the ignorant and lazy.

I haven't watched the Man Baby's Day Out videos in a long ass time. I love that the first point of interest is a brand new McDonald's. Anyway I remember reading his "turn the light green" stuff on here before which I forgot. I figured it would be like me telling the light "go" in an attempt at an awful joke. Nope. He seems to really think it'll work. Wow. He also stress sighs after being there for 5 seconds.

It's fun rediscovering the classics.

Then again we are talking about the same guy who was told that Casper lived in Sarah's crawlspace and got locked in there. And who believed in Santa until he was 19.

Chris-Chan has pretty consistently displays a marked tendency towards prophetic dreams, animistic thinking, magical thinking and a host of other superstitious beliefs that borders on the pathological. The most famous, of course, is Chris's belief in his Magical Sonichu Meddow:

Super'Tard said:

Until, of course, his super powers were transferred to his Amnyfest High School Ring:

Also, my POWERS NEVER truly came from the Medal; they came from my High School Ring the WHOLE time. I wore the ring the VERY FIRST TIME I thought of Sonichu and from then on as well, so there is the FACT. ~15 October 2008 http://sonichu.com/cwcki/The_OFFICIAL_S ... sechu_Blog

One of the more humorous is Chris's belief that inanimate objects contain "memories" and "emotions." For instance, from the Great PS3 Memory Wipeout Saga:

Kooky Dummy said:
I Meant what I had said in the Freedom from the addictions, AND the loneliness put into the Data that was in the PS3 before the Memory Wipeout. And I meant it when my actions in destroying the console were releasing that same past Me from my life.

...

2. As I have told you, a lot of the data is recoverable (more or less), and I did not say getting a new one would make up for the old memories; I meant that getting the replacement will create NEW memories of the more positive Me that has come around since you returned to me. Another way I can put it; the Old data was lonely from not having someone to share it with; now I have you and our future to create the new memories with on there. I may or may not be making sense, but it is the honest truth from my heart.

But it doesn't stop at just anthropomorphism! Chris believes in good old fashioned hoo-doo charms as well:

And we haven't even dipped a toe into Chris-Chan's bizarre religious beliefs or the parallel 'tooniverse' hug box of he calls "Cwcville." Frankly, I'd be scared to even try untangling the mess.

What i find kinda interesting, is how he believes that those sort of stuff actually exist just like the air and the ocean, so, since they exist, he doesn't have to question himself about all those things, it's like "why should i have to? after all, they're real"

Lots of autistics, and with other issues, often engage in what's called "magical thinking". They believe their own actions influence the world in a meaningful and often paranormal or divine way. This can range from mild cultural OCD-like beliefs (not picking up a penny will bring bad luck) to Chris thinking he can give and retract actual curses at will. So he's probably got a pretty weird personal belief system, but probably not rooted in what we'd call superstitious.

Well you know when a butterfly flaps it's wings in Canada it causes a tsunami in asia so I'm pretty sure that when OPL gets kicked out of WalMart it causes a famine in Africa.

I always thought that his magical thinking was sort of just another extension of his Chris-centric universe. Everyone is on Earth to entertain and kneel before Zod...I mean Chris... so why shouldn't he be able to effect other people too? Also, as others have stated, he has a very childish mind and believed for a long time that he could do magic and that somehow just by concentrating he could will things to happen. I don't know if he still believes this now so much what with even GodBear turning troll on him.

I don't think so. Chris-Chan's "Third Date Rule" has more to do with his obsession with rules. Chris really doesn't understand how human interaction works, so he's constantly trying to deduce a simple set of steps or rules that will (in this case) lead him to China. The "third date rule" is a bit of pop culture ephemera that Chris has latched on to as a General Rule for Life.
