As of now, the news story of Chris' house is the most read article on Newsplex's website. Most newsreporters will deliver news where there's public interest, and I wonder if what they thought was a simple story about a fire, have found that it is linked to something much bigger? I.e. the CWCKI etc.

This could just be merged with the fire thread or even just in random questions.

Can we Please stop being so hasty with moving small, self-contained threads into absurdly huge megamonster threads (like the "Random Questions" one)?
Once moved there it is near-impossible to continue following the conversation anymore.

Doing so does NOT make life more convenient or the discussion tidier or more coherent.

I wouldn't expect any more follow up on this story, because Christian's history is really difficult to explain without sounding like you're making fun of someone with Autism. I find people are really sensitive about the subject so going into great length about Chris' infamy will not go over very well.

A reporter might be doing their job if they suggested doing a cyberbullying piece on Chris, but a followup to a housefire that left a retarded guy and his mom homeless will get them fired.

I'm sorry I acted too soon. I reread the Original post and it sounds more like a "what if" topic seeing as it is a hypothetical.

This.

Chris is a PR Pandora's Box. Any widespread piece about Chris and his struggles would only invite an embarrassing rebuttal showing that his struggles are (for the most part) self-imposed. Not to mention that cyberbullying and the like only draws attention when it involves beautiful young people.

Thank you for your attention, Catparty.

Anyhow, to answer OP's question. I thinl there is a less than 3% chance that there will be some fluff piece in a local newspaper, but beyond that, no more news will be forthcoming. 'Cept maybe from field agents.

which reminds me.....Marvin seems to be strangely quiet the last couple of days.
I wonder what is up with that.

You wanna know the funny part about that statement? I live in the same province as Rehtaeh Parsons.

But back to the topic at hand, I have to agree with what's been said thus far. Besides, Chris doesn't need any more stress put upon him at this moment.

Then again, if it has him blaming other people like the gullible moron he is, I would watch it.

You're right. Where is he? This is monumental.

Does someone need Marvin to confirm something? I'm sure he's just as surprised as the rest of us are.

From what I've read on CWCki, Chris seems like the type of guy who always has to find someone else to blame, because he can't fathom the idea that sometimes life isn't fair.

Not to confirm (or even corroborate), but to add details only the innerest of inner circle poobahs would know.

He's come through in the past. I have faith that he will impress us again.

Unless he was so deep undercover that he was hidden in the Hoard, and died in the blaze.

For one brief minute, I actually want to say this.

I hope they don't do something like blame Michael Snyder or Megan.

He's still in shock. Once he calms down a bit, you'll definitely see his reality distorting powers at work. Chris'll make it look like it was some conspiracy organised by a secret cabal consisting of Snyder, Mimms, Megan, Mary Lee Walsh, Sarah Bevel, Trolls, 4-Chan and, last but not least, the Keurig coffee maker company.

He blamed Megan for how his life is now, so I'm sure he'll say that the fire is Michael Snyder's fault because the trial caused Barb's stress, which caused the hording. It's sad to see someone who refuses to own their fate. :/

The blame game is an unfortunate coping mechanism. You can take away the toys and the :sonichu:, but he still has his pointer finger.

Oh you know he's going to, just you wait.

It'll be in the context of blaming Snyder's medical bills for taking all the spare :tugboat: so they couldn't afford a dang decent working coffeemaker, or Greene County not letting them sell the house fifteen years ago, but they will be blamed. Oh yes. Someone will be blamed.
