Okay, I read the whole thing. The whole goddamned Facebook dump. Every inane, whiny, entitled, self-pitying word of it.
And you know what stands out for me?
(aside from Chris miming suicide with his Megatron pistol, which is so horrifyingly pathetic it's one of those things you have to either laugh or cry)
It's Chris and his attitudes towards women.
Honestly, after all of this time, all of the women he's met and interacted with (trolls or otherwise), all the times that's passed, all the events that have taken place...I thought he might have learned something, ANYTHING about women. I would have settled for the slightest thing, really. Any kind of sign of progress.
But the latest update...
Oh good Christ, all those status updates about how men were taking all the pretty girls, about how he wanted to make that one girl's boyfriend disappear (because of course that would mean she'd leap right into Chris' arms rather than being horrified and grief-stricken), those multiple posts about how he couldn't understand why women weren't approaching him "AREN'T I HANDSOME DAMMIT?"
It...honestly, it started to make me sick. He doesn't see women as people at all, does he? To him they're just candy in a dish, and he got there too late to get one. He honestly thinks that individual attraction and love has nothing to do with it...women just latch onto the nearest penis that waves in their face, and he was just too late and too shy to attract one.
But perhaps worst of all was the way he started demanding the death of Mimm's girlfriend. No thought at all about her, or who she is, or the pain he might cause her family. All he cares about it making Mimms unhappy. Again, it just doesn't seem to occur to Chris that Mimms' girlfriend is a person in her own right.
Seriously, I think this update has made me sicker than any previously. It's never been clearer to me that Chris is a misogynist dickhole. I've pretty much lost whatever compassion I had for him, and there wasn't much left to begin with. Fuck him.
