I don't think I'm the only one who noticed that, but still. Have you noticed how when text in Chrises messages goes LIKE THIS he raises his voice every time? First I thought that he is trying to make an impression of Chris and his autistic speech, but then I realized something - he does this with any other text that doesn't belong to Chris. Furthermore, I feel like he did it a couple of times with just the uppercase text that wasn't meant to be highlighted.

Also, his speech during his streams is so... I don't know, detached? You know, like people don't know what to say and try to win some time by going "eh, you know, ehm, that's actually what, ehm, that's a good question", only he speaks that way all the time.

So yeah, he is autistic.

At first I agreed with this however after actually looking at the video on YouTube, it clearly states Geno views this as a documentary.

Considering this information, I agree with many complaints on here, especially about playing videos in their entirety when a short version would suffice. The newer episodes are much, much worse in this regard. On that, is there any hope this documentary series actually gets better over time? I understand Geno is limited by the content that Chris produces but it is getting hard to watch.

Yeah I just noticed he calls it a documentary in his descriptions, but also a comprehensive history which Imo is two different things, cos he doesn't really do any digging himself, just displays the events comprehensively. So maybe he is just confused to what a documentary actually is.

I see it as closer to a chronological archival project (ie the comprehensive history) - a string of videos that sums up but mostly preserves all information on the cwcki in a linear fashion and in this, I dare say it succeeds. This, in and of itself, makes it far less interesting to those who have followed Chris over the years, but in my view, far better for those entirely new to him.

There are different approaches to documentaries and there is a marked difference in whether you are used to american or central european styles (or even different directors, like Werner Herzog, who has a very distinct documentary style), which tend to emphasize chronology and narration (or lack thereof) differently.

Geno is to me very similar to old German television documentaries, which only basically string together archival material tied together by bridging narration - sometimes with interviews, but rarely with any jumps in the timeline. If at all, the references are usually made to events previously talked about, but it never skips ahead or adds any significant commentary. I find that when I watch american or even asian documentaries however, that they have a very different (not better or worse) angle.
The subject matter is treated more as one big picture looked at as a whole, where one can jump back and forth between happenings to go into connections, rather than leaving that up to the viewer to do after presenting all the material. Chronology is present, but it tends to ultimately focus on a conclusion, something it all leads up to, rather than chronology for the sake of it.

It's just a very sequential and matter-of-fact telling of his story in a similar fashion to what you would read on the CWCki with mostly minimal bias. It may not be up to scratch to what a documentary can and should be, but does it tick some of the boxes? yes it does.

You know how you can go back to your early days of schooling and how you might have gone through some personality test about if you're a visual, audio or kinaesthetic learner? Well 95% of the people here would not fall into the latter, you're not really going to learn absolutely everything necessary about Chris and his happenings by mimicking, copying or trying to replicate the circumstances surrounding his trolling, since it's not the best way to demonstrate his story at all, and not really possible. The two former options are kind off blended into each other in terms of what Geno's done (but considering the video footage content and pictures, it's leaning more towards visual rather then audio) but this is mostly why it would appeal to a large portion of viewers, it lays things out in an easy to process visual format that tells his happenings from beginning to and end, regardless if some of the things that happened to him are far more boring "sagas" compared to others.

Note the episodes early on in the series, Geno did not do that. I think it really started with the "WANT WOMAN" tank top at Fridays @ Five. Comment section of that episode went nuts over it and Geno ran with it.

I'm not sure, but I remember noticing it when he read Evan's "YOU DRILLED MY DICK" with the same autistic intonation that he used for Chris. That was before his Gay Trucker outfit.

I’m not sure why people get so mad about it. It’s something to put on in the background while I am working or cleaning. As disposable as any other infotainment, but I don’t think it really aspires to anything else.

As much as I would like Geno to make more music since I unironically enjoy the music he makes, clearly all of his other ventures are overshadowed by the Chris series so that is unlikely. And on the flip side, much like him switching to calling Chris a "she/her" is most likely to avoid people moaning about "misgendering" Chris, he most likely keeps the documentary going since the autistic fans of it wouldn't give him rest if he just stopped making episodes.

He could be "properly" gendering Chris as to not anger the youtube jannies. It would only take a handful of complaints to get him multiple community guidelines strikes for "hate speech" if Geno went on calling Chris he.

I'm late and have been watching the whole series over the last few weeks. It's not perfect, but I appreciate the thoroughness and honesty of the project. Due to him covering EVERYTHING there are quite a few videos that are completely skippable though. I'm in the late 40s now, and at this point there are some videos that consist of nothing but the narrator reading emails and text messages.

As someone who has known about this guy for over a decade, and watched from the sidelines as some of this drama went down, its almost like looking through a scrap book, and just like a real scrap book, once you look back and see how everyone turned out, you feel pretty depressed.

As much as something's irritate me about the documentary I'm curious when the documentary gets Meta but that would be part 200 if Geno keeps the pace to 40min. He should be doing at least an hour otherwise it will take too long and people will lose interest.
